The scout has cloak and stealth, the heavy can take a lot of damage as well as dish it out, but the assault is kinda useless.
I propose giving it something no suit can have like maybe a jump-pack or a stun gun. iDK just something that will make it have a role in the game.
Thoughts?

They're in the middle, its not really a role but you can be fast and tank.
EDIT: Don't forget their bonus.

Believe it or not, it DOES have a role. It just so happens that scouts can do it better since they have horrible skills (well, the Caldari and Gallente Assault). |

How about general purpose suit with no specific strengths, but few drawbacks? Oh, wait...
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Id love to see mediums with the most slots out of all the suits, and a nerf to some of the most used modules. It would given more of the flexibility they need, without giving them the power to bogart the scout and heavy roles.
This sums up 75% of the forum posts.

Give the Commando's damage bonus to the assaults.
Give the Commandos a bonus to maximum ammo pool.
Using their higher speed and damage, Assaults breach enemy locations and commandos use their higher tank, larger ammo pool, and faster reloads to keep the breach open. (Sentinels can come in after the commandos to clean up everything) |
