Seriously, all the QQers need to realize that Dust is a tactical shooter. That means that you may have to use your brain in addition to your trigger finger. I know, it's a scary thought, but it's necessary. If you try and just "run and gun," you're going to have a bad time. You have to think about your surroundings, pick your targets carefully. Make sure you're not leaving yourself out in the open. Now, more than ever, with the changes to TTK, weapon and equipment nerfs, suit health buffs, etc., Dust really feels like a tactical shooter. Too many scouts, too much cloak spam, not very fun. This sums up 75% of the forum posts.

The number you see when logging in is both Dust and EvE. http://eve-offline.net/ shows an accurate representation of the number of Dust players. This sums up 75% of the forum posts.

But not because of the scouts. I've been playing so much to prepare for 1.8, that now that it's here I feel I need a break. One more week then I'll take a two week break. Did you put your uplink next to mine?.... Why would you do that?

They then surrounded me, I was almost finished when I saw the first phantom rushed towards me with a shotgun. But that gus tank dropped on him and saved the day. With 10 secs left i jumped on top of the tank and fired in all directions with the entire enemy team firing at me, my shields slowly drain as fast as my ammo. 3 Seconds left, I threw one last gernade before falling from my last armor point being drained.... Killing 2.

I'm just tired and can't handle anymore....the love I used to have for this game is gone. I used to look forward to getting home on the days my girlfriend and I were apart (she's in college, 50 minutes away) and hang with all of my bro's on the game. We'd have huge channels full of people and dual squads, sometimes 4 squads q-syncing into different matches, 2 squads per match...whichever got it, got it. We'd have some epic victories, some devastating losses but it was fun. It was 1.6 and before and then 1.7 came and people started to dissolve from all the problems with the rail rifles and the combat rifles and the TTK and the TANKS! TANKS! TANKS! TANKS! TANKS! TANKS! TANKS! TANKS! TANKS! TANKS! We all held out hope for 1.8 and thought maybe, just maybe they could return the game to its former glory and so far, its a disaster. Two more of my friends that I play with have decided to retire their mercs as well. I just can't do it anymore....CCP, I've always stuck up for them and told you all to cut them some slack and I still stand by those words because they are at least trying. But CCP, guys....you're failing miserably. I'm sorry if that seems harsh but you're just not succeeding at anything other than ruining this game. I'll see you guys 2.0 or better....give me a shout when you open the player market, implement PVE, open the lines of communication isk / infantry gear wise between EVE and Dust, make the tanks unable to drive 70,000mph and jump hills like dirt bikes, balance out the TTK, disable shooting from the redline, introduce new maps or all of the above. -Michael Epic

There have already been a vehicle and dropsuit one that nobody thought would happen and there is always a possibility of one happening again for other things eventually. And if there isn't? I could care less since unless there is a PS4 release I have no want to fire up my PS3 only for this game I have been dissapointed with since original closed beta. And if there is a PS4 release I will have enough SP from unallocated for so long it wont matter that I wanted my weaponry/upgrades now.

But I'm more happy about my racial Sentinel suit, and I find myself wrestling with the idea of specing into commando... I'm liking it, if it just weren't for all these bugs. Particularly the skills not registering thing. thats really frustrating spawning with a quarter of my HP missing. Also, the glitch with the cloaking is harsh, but as for cloaking in general, all it needs to be somewhat balanced is a hard-counter. currently the only way to decloak someone is to kill them, or wait. We need a proximity webifier. It would look like a cloaked RE, and when someone would come within range, it would snag them, and drop their movement/sprint speed by up to 25%, and cause cloaks to scramble. maybe not breaking it, but making the blue shimmer be more prevalent. That or just some form of ewar. maybe jammer nades which would scramble cloaks, destroy equipment, and do heavy damage to drones (if they ever come out)

I have been playing consistently for almost two years...through thick and thin. But things have just gotten way outta hand. It is not just the whole Scout thing. They have been under the boot heel so long, who can blame them for going crazy with a mechanic that gives them relevance. Cloak and shotgun to your hearts content ya bastards. It basically comes down to the fact that this game is not going live up to its potential for a very long time and honestly, I got better **** to do that gives me a lot less aggravation . My PS4 and Xbox ONE always seem jealous when I am on Dust 514. So Killzone: Shadow Fall and Titanfall will have to due for now. My PS3 backlog is about six months long too. Passive SP just do your thing. In the meantime, CCP...get your friggin' act together. You're Development Team is a soup sandwich.
