I've been doing that since 1.7 started, and my Myron became a flaming asteroid every time I dropped below 100 meters. I'm looking at you, railguns...

I would be curious to see someone activate a cloak while exiting a dropship. Or use the dropship roof as a platform to cloakm and deploy from. In my initial testing, inertia dampeners don't break the cloak.

It would really help with making flying a support dropships a cost efficient activity. Unless I have a good gunner, I normally end up bottom of the leaderboard, even if I transport an entire squad to an objective, and provide a spawn point. I rarely get enough to restock my Myron, which is sad

I believe it's because it would be really easy to farm it. Just get a squad to jump to their death from your DS, spawn back in DS, jump out, rinse and repeat.

yea i've noticed an increased amount of blue activity wanting to board my DS lately. DS survivabilty has increased now that we cant always be shot from the redline. finally found a corp who appreciates transport and we practice air combat assaults and extracts, coordinated assaults/hotdrops vs tanks. so been flying less CRUs, but the CRU was how i found these guys they spawned in randomly one day and i stuck with them.
u can ban the troll out of the forums but u can't ban the forums out of the troll.

Oh boo-*******-hoo. Tell me, was there ANYTHING besides railguns that actually threatened your precious dropship? The useless swarm launchers? The next to useless forge guns?
When your hardeners are up, you were about as invincible as a tank. And against anything that could cause you to crash, you usually had more than enough time to just lift off to safety, except against the railguns.
You derpship pilots just aren't satisfied until you're invincible... |

Let's advocate some more to gets points for those lovely pilots!
And please make sure you do this on Manu's Peak or Line Harvest or Ashland or Spine Crescent; you know, someplace where it's really hard to snipe.
Because it's totally no fun shooting people in free fall.

thats because everyone on the cpm is a eve tard and cares nothing for balance and core gameplay. They would rather have lore and how dust helps eve and PC then give a **** about the actual game. that is allways secondary to them. Jenza, Wolf, and Kain are all eve tards same with the rest of CPM. Not that I even remember who the **** they are because at least Wolf bothers to communicate on the forums (you get points for that even though I dont like you). Kain used to but bitched out (he has become a real **** lately. and Jenza is a useless slag. |

I've taken out more than my share of dropship pilots with swarms. Just because it's not easy mode, doesn't mean it's not possible. Also, seriously, were talking about standard dropships here, you know, those ones with 6 seats. I know they're rare on today's battlefield, but they still exist
