Someone made a post about doing the same thing with the Ion Pistol, right? Maybe it's an issue with sidearms and can be done with any of them.

Yep this has been really annoying, shot guns get their second shot off before decloaking as well. |

If you are using a chargeable weapon, it will allow you to fire and still remain invisible, after you do the cloak glitch :P

I've only personly used the Nova knives to record this, but I would'nt be surprised if the charge sniper works haha xD

I think that should work as intended
for NK of course for everyother weapon the moment you release the trigger you should decloak
A way to balance, knifing with cloak on reduces the timer of the cloak

"Haha" indeed. If that actually works it'll be one more reason I'm glad I'm not playing until after the hotfixes. But it is awfully tempting to try it out.

I actually like this idea. Even though knives as they are are already quite useful. Wouldn't want them to become too useful and be FoTM

Yeah, I tried this - once - with my SMG, works just fine. I'm not gonna do it again, though. If exploiting known glitches is cheating or not is up for discussion, I guess, but in any case it feels like cheating to me. I don't cheat. |

I've tested this... you can do it with both light and sidearm weapon. Cloak, start hacking, switch to your weapon normally (no need for selecting it from the wheel). |
