if you think scouts are OP, your totally wrong.
its the fact that we have FOTM A-holes, which is about over 50% of dust, who only want to win and wear the best things in the game.
sure you can see us in cloak if you have good eye sight
the only problem are the prototype scout wannabe's who brick tank a scout suit to have high ehp with cloak and usually a shotgun that show no mercy to anyone that is red.
in my experiance, the best way to counter this is being a scout myself and run complex precision enhancers and range amps with cloaks and a shotgun on my min scout, hunting down anyone who dares cloak or uncloak around my team or the objective.
me and my squad once took on a team of proto heavies and scouts and still won with standard and advance scouts because we knew what we were doing and we were just better than them even if they were strategic. they even had a proto cal scout scanning for us but we still beat all there A**'s in a heated battle.
also for those who dont think about it anymore, the proto gal logi would be your best bet at even scanning around for the cloaked scouts since they can literally scan any thing at proto with proto scans.
just learn how to deal with scouts or be more aware
things you can do to survive 1% more often:)
-we are cloaked, not invisible. you can still see us if you have a brain.
-std and adv scouts have low ehp because of the cloak cpu/pg needs, so were easier to kill.
-try not to run alone, we love getting the stray dogs that are helpless.
-dont stick around an objective for too long, we love harassing the hell around objectives instead of capturing them.
-if you think an enemy objective is clear then you are wrong, hack for a second than run away and see if anyone is around.
-if your going to hack and installation or anything hackable, always look around to be sure you are safe.
-heavies and commandos, we love hunting you guys down, but remember that you have a Sh** ton of health and can take 2-3 shots if we are using a shotgun.
-dont worry if we run away cloaked, try to have a general idea of where were running and shoot like no bodies business, you may end up hitting us better than looking for us.
-if we are cloaked and you can see us,but you dont know what it was that ran past you shouold probably shoot him just to be safe.

I am so universally hated ever since yesterday.
I was going to go Proto Amarr Assault, until Mr. Jadek Menaheim and all the people who signed this convinced me to go Amarr Scout. Now I'm forever labeled as a FotM hopper. Thanks guys!! -_- |

since i like you and you let the people decide what you should get in a way your not a FOTM hopper, you just so happened to get what theyre getting

My only "problem" with Scouts are the people who are abusing cloak glitches to get shots off at me while cloaked.
other than its just part and parcel of adaption, I need to learn to stick with my squad more.
Unless your a Computer Scientist don't tell me how Game Mechanics Work.

The cloak is a nice little gimmick. I tried it out today and quickly grew tired of it. Its only really patently dangerous when in the middle of a fire fight I miss the shimmer and get hit in the back for an instant kill.
The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field:
One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.
