Can we fix this for 1.9? I'm not looking for anything special like Raw input....
I would just like to track a target without the delay from my movement to what the game does.
Tracking targets in CQC with this delay.. Is a completely different way of aiming for any preferred mouse peripheral user that comes to DUST. And often is off putting enough to write the title off, as controls is such a vital Core system in a game.
Instead of tracking the target's movements and trying to stay on the headshot sweetspot... You can't.. our movement is always slightly behind our actual movement you would make with the mouse.
So you are forced to ambush aim and Predict where the target is going to be. In every gun we use in CQC bar maybe the shotgun.
Purchasing a Mouse and keyboard Emulator with built in CPU hardware to handle the translations can get rid of this. But coming from a rather large PVP intensive EVE alliance and trying to attract more people into the DUST title... Is near impossible for any PC player to get into DUST the input lag is instantly noticeable. For anyone that has a mouse in their hand daily while gaming. Convincing people to invest 100 bux on a M/KB emulator for the peripheral to work as advertised by CCP... is an extremely tough sale.
I have 12 PSN friends that used M/KB exclusively and have quit the game over the past few months over frustration of not being able to have the controls work properly(Edited lighter version).
This is a Core Mechanic Issue in DUST. If Users are having trouble Using the peripherals, controls and interface with industry standard latency that has been expected for decades. It ruins the should be Amazing experience of DUST 514.

As a KBM player, this is rather junk. Having to invest into either an Eagle Eye or Gimx.... no bueno
Ps, using KBM, anyone notice the aim jumping towards straight up? |

Yah its been doing this on random recoils.. All of a sudden my aim jumps WAY over top my target. And trying to settle it back onto target is a struggle beyond all belief... I'm yellin and screaming at my TV...

I also get a slight fire delay from mouse click on top of the issues mentioned.
When I look down my scope, all I see are dead people.

I've bought all 4 faction packs, countless "Neo" gear, is it too much to ask to havea little bit better of control?
Ps, I'm keeping this thread alive. I refuse to play this with a controller for its selling point to me was KBM. If this continues, I refuse to purchase any more for either mine, nor my wifes account. |

Everyone would rather give CCP the 100bux then buy an emulator...
It makes more sense as a personal decision from a DUST player..
A lot of people have boycotted Aurum purchases or just downright quit over not being able to use the controls as advertised.
There isn't a singular more frustrating aspect to any game then controls not working properly. |

Problem with Tickets is... that is the GM's ... Who deal with them.
And DUST's Dev's and CCP's GM's don't communicate well.. If at all between implementation cycles.
Forums, IRC and Skype are gonna be our only way to get the attention of the people who can bring this to attention. |

I'm not asking for a PC experience, I just want to not fight the controls. If you point at some one, they strafe, i try to keep sites on, nope.
Random view of the sky. Or, just this weird jitter.
I broke my hand several months ago. I was attibuting it to my hand, now that I feels its better. Well, I can go decent in a PC game, come here, I get a subpar experience.
If I lost to a better controller player, cool, GG.
Not cool when my maps randomly opens, cloud gazing, or my site is allergic to the red dot and wants to play "keep away". Sure the first two happen rarely, but it still happens.
I believe you can have KBM and controller in bed with eachother, with out purposely giving bad control. |

Why do you think so many EVE players tried dust and then promptly left?
They might fix the game in the fanfest patch maybee, I might come back one more time to try the game then but I wont hold my breath.
By the way look at the server numbers. Patch day - over 5k, then it seems to lose a good few hundred people peak per day from then on. I would say that is probably people coming back to try out dust and then leaving again rather quickly because stuff is actually worse! |

One year of work has been put into improving core mechanics of the game, yet NO improvements have been done to the mouse aiming.
I used my money to buy a GIMX rather than to spend them on booster just because of this.
