Until we get bigger maps that will allow more versatility in vehicle play and use, these are some suggestions on how to fix the current vehicle 'upper-hand' .
Solution: To make modules ineffective in the friendly red-line. Result: Immortal red-line railgun tank removed, but that playstyle is still viable.
Solution: Only allow three HAV's per team, four MAV's per team, and five LAVs per team. Result: This prevents 'tank-spam' , e.g 6 blaster tanks from one squad rocking around in Ambush.
OR
Solution: Only allow two HAV's per squad. Result: This is a fair and balanced alternative to the first solution suggestion as it still allows numerous tanks to be on the battlefield at any one time. However, it prevents 6-man squads, taking all the tank slots on the field and unjustly dominating the field with little or no risk.
Solution: Increase Militia HAV & Milita Large Turret prices significantly. Result: More risk vs reward when it comes to pulling out Milita HAV variants.
I also believe Milita HAV prices should be higher than standar HAV prices, as they should cost more to use because of lack of SP input, even though they very close to being just as combat-effective as the standard HAVs.
I'm primarily a Python Pilot here so I think the lack of module usage in the red-line is fair all round. ... but dropships are balanced, trust me ;)

No, one redline rail is enough to keep you from flying. No risk, no reward. |

If you're a skilled enough pilot, you should be able to fly out of his field of view, range etc. Flank him. And if they implented that modules could not work in the redline, it would be possible to kill him even in his own red-line before the time reaches 0. No hardeners, no damage mods. He'll be forced to run or die.
