Because I haven't noticed it in this game so far. Granted I'm running scout suits and stubbornly still using minmatar assault. But I seem to be dying just as quick as Monday and I'm still dying when shot in the back before being able to turn around. Is it just me?
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

I only run with ~230 shields and 83 armor and I don't get instagibbed and I have enough time to run away. So I think the TTK has increased. That's just my experience.
Also, unrelated, but I am loving the 73.6 shield recharge rate.

Scrambler pistols suck now. This weapon's time to kill has doubled.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

CCP: lowers base damages of most commonly used weapons, damage mods, prof skills to increase TTK. Community: Used DS command respec to spec into the lowest EHP suits in the game because of cloaky new toy goodness. Community: wonders why they still die as fast as they did when they were running brick tanked 1.7 logi suits with ~1000 EHP, in their new scout suits (some of them brick tanked to ~600+ EHP.)
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS?

Ive seen more low health value suits then i have in a long time in DUST...
And they are effective.
Is it so significant that it's noticeable? nah...
The TTK on the Medium suits have gotten worse in most cases... Some Logi's got off alright.
Scouts, Commandos, Heavies have all had their TTK improved dramatically. |

Try soloing a assault or heavy with a rifle. You see the higher time to kill. Now stopping the community from jumping in front of 3 or more guns is another story.
Forge Changes needed Officer Splash 3.0, Proto 2.7 Advanced 2.5 Standard 2.1.
Original ROF needs to return!

Part of the TTK problem is that we aren't spawning in with all our HP. On my 1000+ HP cal commando it takes a couple of minutes for the game to realize somethiing is amiss and give me the last 15% of my HP (which I am consistently starting the game without). Even with all that HP though I still get 3 shotted by shotties.
Fun > Realism

I mentioned the 2 suits I am not noticing TTK difference with because I ran those 2 before the update on Tuesday as well. And yeah I seem to kill or be killed just as quickly, I use the CR on both those fits. I have noticed a slight increase in TTK for my Amarr assault so the change to proficiency did hit the ScR pretty hard. Thanks to those that responded for the feedback.
