No point in wasting millions of isk and dying over and over in a match because of things that are broken.
I've tried every fitting imaginable from commandos to logis to assaults to sentinels and every time I'm dying 10+ times in a match. Even my prototype suits are useless to the HMGs, shotguns, and other instante+ükill weapons out there I keep running into. Instead of fixing the problem everyone's just running the weapons that weren't nerfed, the weapons that still kill ridiculously fast.
I don't die by rifles anymore. Maybe one of those 10 deaths is a rifle, by some new player that just got his first kill because I was running away with 50 armor. And yet I'd rather go back to being killed by a Rail Rifle every now and then.
On top of it all, we have a known bug list a half mile long.
I'm not usually one to act like this...I like this game, I really want to see how far it goes.
But this is just too much for me.

take a break for a while, and wait for the next update. By then, the game might feel fresh again for a little while. |

Gotta kill those suckers from a distance man, watch your back for those shotgunners. I'm running an Amarr Commando with LR and SCR and I'm having a blast.

I made a thread like this and got banned from the forums by CCP. Not that it matters because I only come here to look in on the forums.
Chromosome - the game was fresh new and innovative. Now its just stale and totally buggy. |

People will play a flawed but interesting game. They will not play a boring but flawless game.
The problem is that Dust, right now, is both flawed and boring. Personally I think the boring part is the bigger issue, but the flawed part is certainly a big issue as well.

Game feels fresh to me, having loads of fun with Heavys, commandos and scouts, sounds like you might of had a string of bad matches, or you're just not in the right frame of mind for playing today, or you have just been caught up in all the negative nancy moaning on the forums, you must have found something you find fun to play with in 1.8? |

Still haven't played yet. I updated and hopped in a squad yesterday, but they talked too much and I had to bail and go to school.

It's amazing how people were so handicapped from the scanners. Now that scanners are trash people can sneak up on you. Get your passive skills trained to 5. Precision and range. Then learn to look around and be aware of your surroundings. If you see a cloaked figure shoot at it. They are normally out of range of the shot gun so you can get the jump on them. Don't try to be a hero and run at a heavy, use remote explosives and teamwork to kill them. If there is a logi repairing it then kill the logi first.

I did mention this in the OP too...
Passives are at 5, but even then I have to run mods to detect scouts. You know, unless I skill into a scout suit myself which I won't do.

Now that roles are more defined and specialized..
It helps to build your squads around this.
Having a Caldari Scout or a Gallente Logi is Key to any Squad and gathering intel.
At least 2 Heavies and 1 Logi.
If spambush at least 1-2 good tankers.
I Scored a 6250 Warpoint match with my 8m SP Minmatar Logi alt yesterday... So the potential now for Logi points is crazy.. You might break your score. |

If so then STFU ... Do you know who Shayz is ??? Ovb not , so keep your mouths shut trying to give a known and experienced Vet such as if he needs battlefield advice .
This man is held in high esteem in the community and since he won't tell you because he has too much class , I will STFU .
I don't care about having class , hell most think all I do is whine anyway so I really don't care .
You newbee's need to " Know Your Role And Shut Your Mouths " , still wet behind the ears and trying to tell someone with more experience in the nail of his pinky finger , then you do in all of your playing experience .

I understand , I posted an image yesterday , the side I was on, had a really hard time getting ANY KILLS, today felt just the same, I rigged a commando with 1100 HP, and still had a really difficult time getting kills, something like 20 kills in 4 games. Yet A scout can do 390 damage and take out my logo with 700+ HP in one shot.

I've been a logi since chrome. So I know how you feel about using other suits. I know who you are as well because we have caught against each other many times. But sometimes you just gotta use different suits for different occasions. If you get the surface research lab then use the heavy. If you get the bridge map then switch to an assault or scout. Etc. Different maps have different strong points for each suit. That's why I've got a proto suit for each frame of Minmatar!
