overall, it's a really good patch. just what this game needed after 4 months of...well, you know.
but unfortunately, it's not perfect, FAR from it, and it's a bit disappointing that after 4 months, 95% of the bugs from 1.7 are still in the game plus some.
for convenience purposes, i'll go over the bad first.
THE BAD
1.) as I said before, VERY buggy. if I were to go through all the bugs in this patch, I'd be typing for an hour, and I'm sure that most of you are well aware of them.
2.) the lag. no reason to go into this, everyone knows what I'm talking about.
3.) brick tanked scouts. I knew that we were going to see a bunch of fotm chasers going into scout because of the recent buff, but in all honesty, I don't have too much of a problem with scouts, as I myself am a scout ck.0 with completed electronic skills. (range, profile, and precision)
4.) hit detection. again, shouldn't have to explain it.
5.) heavies. I personally have no problem killing heavies, but a lot of people apparently do, so I guess i'll add it.
6.) tanks. again, I don't have a problem with tanks, and with the cloaks, I now have the ability to escape a tank even with no cover and it's shooting at me.
THE GOOD
1.) racial dropsuit parity. I just love seeing all the new dropsuits now. (dat caldari heavy. looks like it ate a cow! )
2.) cloaks. I thought that when cloaks came into the game, they'd be massively OP, but surprisingly, they're not. cloaked people are so easy to see while they're moving, and you can only really use the cloak to it's fullest potential if you were good at scouting before it. with the cloak, I've been able to literally tie up entire teams, distracting them from other objectives.
3.) new weapons. I friggin love my new bolt pistol, and even went prof 3 on it. the only problem is that when using a shotgun, you get the weapon switching glitch WAY too often when switching to the bolt pistol and trying to shoot after firing the shotgun.
there was a point while I was playing where I faced a stacked squad of guys from my corp, which wasn't very fun, since all of them were running full proto scouts with cloaks, but hey, what can ya do?
so like I said, overall pretty good patch, but far from perfect. definitely a step in the right direction for this game.

Shotguns are too accurate or something Alot of the fotm chasers 1 shot my 374 shield scout...but im glad I can scan them while cloaked and they cant scan me...

Oh and scout suits need a price reduction Fun, but I die due to hmgs and shotguns so its very expensive a STD shotgun deals like 450 base damage, and it does bonus to shields, so it should be one shotting your 374 ehp scout.
scout suits should cost the same as every other suit. it's no fair for them to cost less.
and don't worry, I lost 1,200,000 isk in one match trying to run my proto scout against a full fquad of Fatal Absolution and a few other stacked squads.

I dont like using anything but proto scout though, my adv suit only has a aidearm and a adv cloak, no shotgun, damm cpu and pg, but I think its ridiculous I can die so easily and lose 102k....now I barely play unsquaded...
