Not even one day in and CCP feel the Heavie's EHP is too high?
Wat? Seriously? I'm not having a problem with Heavies.

CCP has already come out and said that those numbers were being thrown around the office.
Expect a "hotfix" in October.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

current maps are designed in a way that countering heavies is easy. high EHP does not nothing against flanking, range, speed, stealth, cover, remote explosives, MD, PLC and using higher ground. |

Not really Some maps have 3 objectives in close areas and if you dont have a shotgun that 1400 hp heavy (1,000 armor+shields) is going to kill you

I've only had an issue with caldari heavies. Using all 4 slots for shield extenders should let you go past 800 shield, but as it currently stands you only need 2.
They already have a ridiculous shield regen and delay...

20% HP nerf... Why... My Nova Knives need some challenge when tearing holes in these fatties. Nerfing their HP is just going to make them easier targets for all the cloaked scouts running around. If anything, bring the HMG's ROF down to what it was in Chrome, 2,000 RPM instead of the 2,400 that they added a few months ago.
Nova Knives are OP! Nerf em before you lose all your proto suits!
