Finally someone else that agrees with me there's nothing wrong with this gun just pick your target A little more carefully and always always go for the headshot.

Yeah, its alright i guess. They kept the headshot bonus which i'm glad about. The only thing i hate now is that the proto ones are useless apart from more range and damage this goes to Ion pistol too.

They suck now, and guys like musturd that had the ENTIRE SCP TREE maxed lost more sp than I can even imagine

I am an avid scrambler pistol user and have fully specced into the skillset. 1.8 broke scrambler pistols. The firing rate has been reduced which lowers the damage per second significantly. There is a glitch causing the scrambler pistol operation bonus not to be applied properly upon spawning, so I only have 8 rounds in my clip instead of 13. Once I empty a few clips, then the bonus is finally applied, but this bug alone significantly impacts the usefulness of this weapon class.
CCP killed the scrambler pistol in 1.8.
