I'll just cut to the chase... make it like it was. Headshot bonus, all that jazz. Normalize the RoF between tiers though, there is no reason the Viziam should shoot 500 RpM, while the standard is 425. Faster RoF is for Assault variants.
Ion Pistol:
Damage- 85
RoF- 450 (so its flavor text makes sense)
Magazine Size- 12
Effective Range- 20m
Keep the charge shot just like it is.

magsec smgs suck imo, but that's probably just me. i just can't seem to get a kill to save my life with it. i've never used the ion pistol because everyone says it sucks now, and i haven't touched the ScP since the nerf.
but the bolt pistol on the other hand...

Is it any good?
I wanted to touch up on it too, but I haven't really gotten an idea of what its all about.
It is also very different from the others, starting with that it is automatic, so the same rules don't apply.

It required skill in 1.7 too.
To kill, you needed to either land your whole magazine, or land headshots to make up for any misses.

Bolt pistol sucks because it is glitched, the ion pistol sucks because CCP made it suck get it right

Doesn't work cos I have basically 0 DPS thanks to broken suit.

Hit detection is broken on it, and its range is 15 not 40 or w/e.
