Well, my best guess anyway. 
Don't spend any SP on suits, let others suffer that grief. I am going to wait at least a week or two. Then the Nerf Hammer of Doom* will have dropped at least twice. Hopefully they will unKitten some of the problems but I doubt it. Probably create two for every one they fix.
* Is the Wangster still around? I have missed him yelling at the Mercs and letting us know what a disappointment we all are.
And so it goes.

Or just spec into the suit that fits your play style and stop worrying how to make the most OP suit. Anyway already pro min assault and we all know that's never getting nerfed.. Because freedom and all. |

For me I have a limited amount of SP to spend on suits. They announced the Nerf of Heavies and why would I believe they aren't going to Nerf Hammer anything else? Simple. I don't. So I will wait and see how it settles out.
Do your own thing. If you have enough SP to do as you suggest, spend away good Merc, spend away.
And so it goes.

I've considered not doing anything but MLT & BPOs til 1.9 (or 2.0, whatever they'll call it), which should be when all of the new stuff is stabilized.
But, I'm bored and Galmmando is calling...

I was going to save my SP and use BPO's then I changed my mind. Went Armarr Heavy with Cal scout and at the moment I am enjoying my choices. If they do get a nerf I will still have 3 Million SP saved so I think I am good. Also I am near nerf proof with as much as SP as I have, there is very little CCP could do to make this game impossible for me to play no matter the role. |

Goes looking for a PS4 but comes back with nothing as they are sold out, sold out, sold out!! and SOLD OUT!!!
Sigh maybe by June I manage to get a PS4 to play PS4 games.
Other than that its just BUGS514 for the year...sigh.

Maxed out Gallente Commando. Been waiting since 1.2 for Gallente Commando. Been waiting since closed beta for Gallente heavy. I have no regrets and will tough through it, whether for the better or worse. I also have the Ion Pistol, which completes my full Gallente loadouts.

Weapons are still OP! Nerf all weapon damage by 10%!
Dropsuits are also OP! Nerf all Dropsuit HP by 10%!

I never planned on spending the SP on my Main day-one. Both of my ALT have been running gimped in Uprising for so long it would take a extreme effort to really mess them up.
