Honestly feels like everyone can spot me in 1.8, and I'm not just talking about while cloaked, but also on their passive radar.
Idk what happened, but scouting was far easier in 1.7. No one checked their radar, and you could be right next to someone and they wouldn't know, now it seems as if everyone has a sixth sense.
I could list the ways how we Amarr are better than you, but your lesser mind wouldn't comprehend it.

I know the feel. I'm dying a lot more than I used to. Everyone is a scout and it's actually making my job relatively difficult... who would have thought a buff would have made it harder to use the suit? 
Nova Knives are OP! Nerf em before you lose all your proto suits!

Cloaks need to go. They are garbage, add nothing to the game and actually decreases skill.
1. Ruin positional gameplay and strategy of a scout. Now, scouts just run to front lines then cloak. Its a joke. Scouts got a new equipment slot and a new hi or low slot... As well more classes to choose from. No need for these new cloaks which are BS. No skill involved now.
2. No need to check for others, cloak and hack. No awareness necessary for hacking.
3. Cloaks are a crutch, scouts were fine before now there's just a bunch of cloaked hooligans ruining the scout name, role, skill.
4. I'm getting shot by invisible shot gunners, i can't aim after i de-cloak myself, and why can't I change from cloak to RE when they have the same interface?!? It's not another arm I'm pulling up.
I knew you would enjoy the Amarr Scout. Amarr and cal scouts are just tearing it up today. Nothing. Yet tears from Min Scouts, i pointed it out many times, they lack 2-4 PG. Would be nice to have Min NK too.

It's due to the constant advancement of lethal shimmering masses that has players paranoid over air. It's not like there's a cloaked scout around every... oh ****.

I do unfortunately like the Scrambler Pistol a lot so I usually run that with my knives. Shotgun HD has worst than last patch. Knives are...more or less the same.
Bolt Pistol is ok but Ion Pistol is omg beautiful. Just have to get used to the whole charged shot on a pistol nonsense.
I don't think I'll get a cloak till like next month since I don't really care too much about it. |

Sounds like you're facing against the Caldari Scouts. They have bonuses to passive scan range and scan precision. My brother can see you cloaked even when you're not shimmering thanks to that suit. Now, if you train to Gallente Scout, then you can avoid the Caldari Scout.
