CCP on it's Dust 514 web sight advertised a " Full drop suit , Weapons and Equipment Balance " , now this is on the official sight but we officially didn't get a weapon and equipment refund on our skill points .
Yes it's over but seeing that just pissed me off and is an indicator that there should have been an additional , weapons and equipment refund as well ... seeing as how it's a headliner on the official web sight .
This is just flat out wrong .
For those who are and were against it , look at the web sight and tell me if this was the right thing to do or not .
I'm sure you would be against it but ... this is all kind of wrong in every kind of way .
How was this a headliner and the community couldn't benefit from it ???
For or against it , that was just flat out wrong and a smack in the face for those who would have use this opportunity to better themselves and bring about a " rebirth " of their character .
That was wrong CCP ... FLAT OUT WRONG !!!!!  .
Even they can admit it was a drastic change , but those who would want to keep the newer player experience to a boring event and the powers that be , that just don't care about the " Newer players " would wan't praise and to be glorified for such an occasion .
Such hypocrisy !!!! .

First its tanks with you, now this. You must be new, to understand, real VETs have invested many skill points into things that were later nurfed and made useless. We learn to grow with the game and skill into something else, so that times like this, we can now revert back to guns that have been rebuffed.
If your useless in this game, well skill into something that will make you better, if not go back to COD and stop whining about how bad you suck. they don't need to always give a respec to us every time something new comes out or changes, we could have gotten nothing, and good gamers would have built up and started using what was given. That s how it goes.
I've been pro to lazer rifle, haven't used it once sense the nurf, now people half to deal with it, just like you. |

No $h!t I have to deal with it but what is right is right .
They admit changes but do not compensate for those said changes . Equipment functions totally different now . It takes forever if your not a Cal Logi for a nano to reload you . Done that . All equipment functions differently , weapons were introduced and the damage was reduced along with damage mods , nerf today to heavies and stats were changed all around but it seems like you and so many others just believe that's alright and it doesn't have an impact on the overall game play .
Why doesn't that sound like it's game changing to anyone ???

Yes I'm new ( 5-6 months now ) so what your saying is , because of that my voice is and should be diminished ???
I attempt to be observational and what I observed was flat out wrong .
They admitted the changes in a headline but only one of the three was addressed . It said " Suits , Weapons and Equipment " but I'm wrong for pointing that out when they , even they admit the game changing changes that were implemented .
That was wrong .

Yes, you live with it, use your skills elsewhere, learn to play the game differently. Grow with it like all the other VETs have learned two years ago, there will be more skill points to come, at some point more adjustments will be made. Nothing is final in this game and theirs much more you could be doing instead of reading between the lines, just get better with something else.
Ive gone Cal Aslt, then Mim logi, then Gal Scout, Then Mim Aslt. Now Mim Com all because things have been buffed/nurfed here an there so many times, and it actually pays off to have had things i wasn't using that I'm skilled into become useful again.

For those who just take what they can get , that's fine for you and all but I'm a go getter . I try not to settle for less and I fight against what is wrong to the best of my ability .
If there is a chance for change , especially if it will make things better ( for those who don't have ) I will speak up about it .
I have written about the usefulness and importance of snipers , I have written multiple post about tanks and other issues like prototype players who wear militia and how that can confuse a new player into quitting because of performance issues ( feeling like they are doing something wrong when faced against someone whom they believed were on even terms ) and other things that I have noticed .
I will not stop and no matter what anyone says to me I know what I'm doing is that right thing .
What happened was wrong .
Can't bring something to the spotlight and take credit for a job that was half , no a third of the way done ... what's right is right and I'm not most of the time but I can see when something is and was done wrong and this was handled the wrong way .

the games not for faint of hearts, its for true gamers that see a challenge and continue fighting to defeat it. with what your doing, you won't defeat CCP. Its not settling, its being good at everything, CCP wants you to live with what you choose, thats why people loose thousands of dollars on eve, I mean REAL LIFE money, and half to live with it.

A real choice requires information , information that's etched in stone .
How can you make a " REAL " choice when information is changing at a moments notice and expect someone to " live with that " when the choice was made while they were misinformed ???
It's nice that you and those who feel like you can except that but for me , a real choice is done with real concrete information .
When this game is done then I can see what you and those who think like you are saying but until then , I will continue to speak out .

lol yes, I'm here laying down one handed typing on my computer, i didnt plan to continually check my grammar or be right fro the start, so if that be the case, then read on pass up my posts.

If every slight nerf or buff gave us a respec then most would skill into the next FOTM 'til that gets nerfed.
One of the reasons we got a respec was people couldn't use the suit that fit their play style the best due to not actually having those suits, so the dropsuit command respec makes sense now because the suit they wanted is out.
The next and hopefully last respec we get is vehicle command with racial vehicles

I'm studying Game Development, not English. Already got an A+ for English 101 (easy as hell) and I have to take 102 next semester. |

i could use some serious balance, and some better shotgun hit detection. Was just in a age with an unhittable commando mk.0. literally, 5 blue flashes, and once i started shooting, turned around and mowed me down with a bk-42.

You speak like it was just something that could have been glossed over but most of the new content changed not only how people play this game but how they look at it as well .
That doesn't warrant a chance to reconfigure one's character to those said changes ???
This is not a respec thread ... it's a matter of someone noticing something that was done and done wrong and that wrong doing has an effect on a large part of the community and if you can't see that then there is something that is going on that is even more wrong then what just transpired and this game can never become balanced because the player base is not in favor of being balanced in fair treatment .

It's a damage nerf, your playstyle doesn't change
RR is still long range
CR is still mid range
now they don't ht as hard.
That's completly different then NOT actally having the racial varient of the suit you want but isn't available yet

Draxus, the weapons need respeccing, too, you know. I know for a FACT there are people that specced AR's because there was no alternative, I did. Now that RR's are out, I don't NEED AR's, the same with Bolt Pistol and MagSec. We shouldn't have to be stuck with gear we are NEVER going to use again. We should be able to get OUT of those weapons, upgrades, dropsuits, whatever. That said, it should be done when we have full racial parity on everything.
There shouldn't be a respec every time there is a slight change, like a nerf/buff, but if they majorly change a tree, like adding multiple items, or changing how things work on a daily basis (like the equipment or other Upgrades), we should be refunded.
BTW, gg earlier, you were killing it with that Cloak.

What was done was done wrong , that's what I have to say about that .
Don't headline something where you only had given one fourth the justice to but want one hundred percent of the credit for .
What was done was done the wrong way and even if they do a refund later for vehicles , that still leaves infantry undone but they would like one hundred percent of the credit for that though .
What happened was unfair and done in the wrong manner ... totally insensitive to the newer player experience .

Although new weapons and weapon rebalancing was in 1.8 doesn't mean it deserves a respec
New Weapons get added all the time but unless we're getting sub faction gear we're NOT getting new racial frames. We'll get new roles like pilot and crusader but no new frames (also gg :D)
