I tried it-my quantum has the same size scan field as the old flux. Please fix it.

nope. Its also inconsistent--on one occasion, i was able to do a full spin scan, on another, the thing just stopped scanning after about .05 seconds. Literally a needle point scanner

to just take snapshot scans and get rid of "scannerinas"

Prob what is happening is there is sever lag causing the game to misjudge where your actually scanning and where the game thinks your scanning. so if you look up or down and then scan straight ahead right after its taking the wrong stapshots. |

My bug is, sometimes my armor and shield "freeze" they don't repair until I fire my weapon, or sometimes I spawn in with missing like 15% of both armor and shield.

Known issue, it's in the list of bugs in the 1.8 thread in Featured Ideas and Discussion (or whatever the name for Feedback/Requests is now :/).
