Scanners - I'm very pleased. They got a serious nerf but are still usefull and viable. I love the snapshot, scanning hasn't gotten me killed once yet. Its also "more of a challenge", you now have 60 degrees on most scaners as opposed to the previous 360 degrees, this combined with the increased cooldown time makes it more important to know when and not least where to scan.
Cloak - Way to early obviously, but I have no complaints so far. They seem to be fun to use but not in any way game breaking. I've died a couple of times to shottys coming out of nowhere but I've also killed lots of them due to their mostly low HP fittings. CCP listen to the playerbase here and it seems to have payed out.
Player mentality - I hope this doesn't go back to the usual.... Today has been a very fun day. Very little rooftop camping, redline sniping and generally defensive slow pased boring gameplay. It seems like everyone play with a new vigor and enthusiasm. Today has mostly been about non stop action with a few exceptions, if people keep this up it might be the best improvement to Dust since launch, thats my opinion anyway.
Uplinks - This is actually my biggest issue, and its not that big. Nerfing them by reducing spawn time is not a good idea IMO. It seems to only slow down the pace of battle and now I have to spend more of my game time merely sitting there and waiting to spawn in. I think It'd be much better if the plinks where nerfed with less spawns or even better, with different levels of stealth.
TTK - I had big fears that the game would be slowed down too much. The goal should be to let the difference in EHP be noticeable, but not too dominating. In 1.7, carrying proto or advanced gave a tiny bit of increased combat efficiency, now its more noticeable. I've been shot in the back several times and still managed to turn around and win the the dual, this was almost unheard of in 1.7. And yet I can still kill people fast enough to not make impossible to face multiple opponents. I know its early but dare I say it? Have they nailed it perfectly?
Fattys - Yeah the enormeous amount of them is getting old, its annoying. I'm not however certain that they need some kind of HP nerf. Me being nearly blind its kind of hard for me, no its mostly impossible for me to see if the suit is militia or proto, so I can be a little off here. The ones I fought in todays PC wasn't any more scary than the previous ones at least. So far I stand by my opinion that the only change that needs to be done is a reduction of the HMG push-back effect. I just hate it when I'm standing 2 m from cover but I can't even reach that at full helath cause once that HMG hits me I'm slowed down to a crawl and can't move. They hit you with 20 bullets and then its nearly impossible to get away.
Scrambler rifle - It seems like this gun got the heaviest nerf, at least of the 6 guns I have more than 1 M SP in. Yes it eats through shields, but then it slows down to a crawl. I've never over heated as much as I've done today, and I use 2 proto dmg mods on it. I'm not saying that the gun is UP, but for my part its gone from being a general purpose gun to being a gun I'll only bring in for special occations like anti skyscraper camping. I think that a slight reduction to overheat is prudent given the new reduced damage.
Scrambler pistols - I felt the effect immediately and I don't like it. One of the major points of single shot weapons (not including snipers, shottys or MDs) is that a skilled player can tap really fast and still be able to track his target. Its a weapon that above anything else rewards good aim, especially considered the headshot bonus. I'd much rather take a dmg nerf over a ROF nerf, they just aren't that fun to use now.
I've got more, but it'll do for now.
Conclusion - Still way too early to tell but I have a very positive impression and its gonna be fun to see what appens next.
Edit; I almost forgot, I absolutely love to have a little dial for the scanner cooldown. Its a small thing but it makes me a very happy camper, ehr, not that I camp...
I'm not a 100 % sure but it seems like the chat bubble bug has been fixed, its a small matter but I'm glad to think that its finally been fixed.
FU and FU Dust community, you're mostly a bunch of moronic carebear crybabies. Get good.

Agreed with most of these things.
Except the ScR's inability to chew through armour at all is horrific against all these new heavies... ScP is no good for what I used it for anymore either.
I've been using a CR all day long instead.

I agree with scrambler pistols;
SCRs getting me killed mostly today outside of all things the ion pistol...
Needs to go either full magnum or drift back to service pistol styled.

Chat bubble has not been fixed yet. I like the new mode info, number of players and objectives. But I have seen redline forge guns and went through a battle in pubs where the other team had 9 players corp sync.
Well, time to go Commando. Fill the Ranks at 703rd.
