Although SRs are in a pretty bad place right now, the new changes to Scout suits actually make them viable for reprising one of their former roles as a sniper.
My Scout gk.0 can almost achieve 1000 eHP, equip a Thale's SR and STD Magsec SMG, use STD Locus Grenades, and use its 2 equipment slots for 2 Compact Nanohives.
Goodbye, sidearm-less Logi mk.0. Hello, tanky Scout Sniper!
*It should be noted that this fit does not use DMG mods. It also has to cut back on Complex Plates if I want to fit an SR different to the Thales.* |

how sad. you may as well use a sentinel sniper.
anyways, there is no 'return' of a scout sniper, its alaways been around. i join the scout sniper group very recently, in 1.7. i love it. i dont care how squishy i am, as long as i dont camp, i never get shot because of my stealthy profile dampeners. the cloaking device will help give us the ability to safely move to another sniping location as long as we keep still when we see an enemy. after a kill, we can also cloak to keep our last victim from spotting us should they be on the hunt for us.

Only thing you can kill are non-bricked/shield scouts, but good luck.
P.S. I used sniper scouts before they were cool. |

if you say so  . i recently had to quit a battle because everybody but me and 2 others were sniping.

Are you underestimating the killing potential of the Thales? Does this mean I am free to spam them as much as I want now because I cannot kill anything that's not brick tanked? |
