Im thinking of running it until minmitar suits get the ability to fit a scout with kin cats , and just was wondering if it was OP, because if it is, I'm not skilling into it (CCP nerfs)

Minmitar got a bonus to hacking speed as well as a PG/CPU buff and they also received an extra high slot.
3 Lows, 3 high's gives it a lot of versatility at the cost of EHP. They're very role specific, but they're not bad. I have a scout assault suit now that is very efficient. New advanced are the old proto's, basically.

the min scout has god awful fittings-CPU and PG skills maxed i can't even fit 2 enhanced kin cats and get over 200 shield and still fit a cloak, much less knives. Its not even fun i ******* quit if these god damn shield extenders don't get a ******* fix in 1.9. I fuckin cannot deal with being gimped compared to every other scout suit. Its like CCP is forcing me to armor tank my scout suit as those are the only viable modules that i can fit. SEriosuly, what the ****. Low pg on shield extenders to 6 and raise CPU to 60 at proto and this game will be fun for a min scout. Until then, its not cool to not be able to fit a goddam basic cloak on a goddam proto scout. Come on get you **** together CCP. I always try to stay positive to you guys but this patch is taking a **** on already the hardest to fit suit in the game. seriously i can't deal. before 1.8, the scouts were fairly balanced, even if gallente was slightly better, but now i wish i could just spec amarr because these goddam fitting reqs on any scoutly mods are unreal

It's like the Caldari are LeLouch and the Gallente are Kururugi.
You ruin their plans with your awesome skills. Also, if you stack hp on your scout suit (except shields) you should biomass yourself. |

OP or not, it's going to become FOTM. With the TTK reduced, changes to proficiency, and the commonality of anti-armour weapons, a suit with such a strong focus on shields is just so easy to use.

The Cal and Gal scouts are both strong, but for different reasons.
I'm using the Cal scout and it fits my play style perfectly.

Minmatar is a great Scout suit, its not supposed to be a frontline suit, it doesn't have the HP to do something like that. Came out of some PC matches in which I managed to hack a good amount of points and key installations per game.
Minmatar isn't as good as slaying as the others, but its more valuable to a team than the others are (Especially considering next to Amarr they're the least popular)

I chose Cal over Gal due to it fitting into my play style and not do to it being OP. I will skill into the Gal later for my speed fit but for the moment I am liking the feel and look of the Cal |

Just fit a PG Expansion Module if you really need the extra PG. Do you have both Electronics and Engineering to LVL 5? I'm not having a problem fitting my suit, sure I have to make small sacrifices here and there, but who doesn't?

Nor do I, two Kin Cats is completely unnessacery. Get some Profile Damps, or Range Amps, they cost 0 PG and help a lot.

I don't know about OP but its a pain in my ass (as a min scout) when there's a Ck.0 on the enemy team.
They know exactly where I am and I have no hope in hell of hurting them most of the time. So I have to put 2 dampeners on my suits, limiting me to 1 slot and its often a PG enhancer
