You guys just fixed the heavies hmg which made them a true beast up close as a hmg should be. I really don't think any of you DEV's play the game enough to know what it needs. I continue to see things not fixed throughout the game on a daily basis. If you played the game you also would see and experience them or maybe you just don't know how to fix those bugs. On the other hand you are quick to come in change the game completely by nerfing all weapons, uplinks, etc. If you played the game why the hell would you say the uplink spawn times are to long? You want quick spawn times to get back into the game play and you have to skill into proto to get that time down and you once again have ruined something that didn't have a problem. Let me tell you from a heavies point of view. I am beast up close and usually run with a logi for OB's. However, I have been killed by many skilled medium suits(op rails) and mostly by your jack rabbit scout creations that have no profile and carry shotguns. I don't think scouts or shotguns need a nerf I think I need to play better. I do think all the players that sit on the sideline 100 yards away with proto rail rifles taking mercs down but never really engaging anyone sux. The range on the rail guns needed a nerf not the damage. For some reason CCP has complained about the quick game play or quick deaths? Once again, do you play the game? The thought of ," wow that battle was way to quick or I think I killed to quickly", has never crossed my mind. If CCP is having trouble supporting all the game play due to server support or whatever then start charging to play the game but if you do you better start playing it more and fixing these bugs or I am out. If you need income fire the guy who thought of the loyality store and LP faction warfare and eliminate it completing. Then you can bring back AUR proto weapons, suits etc. availibility with level 3 skills only. Combat rifle just got a nerf. Mass driver just got a buff and its so so
Laser rifle SUCKS after being buffed...lol. I.e. to get it to work ok you just need proto, full proficiency AND amarr assault suit bonuses..lol!! Several MILLION SP investment...lol!
Why does a "buffed"..lol weapon need proto and maxxed proficiency and the amarr assault suit bonus just to make it mediocre
Tempted to run plasma cannon instead.

From other sources my information is that the Devs think Dust514 is an awesome game! So ... no, they don't seem to play other FSPs games and they play Dust514 in play testing enough to know it is awesome in its awesomenestestistish. -ish. -tic.
I would guess they have never played an FPS that has decent sniper scopes cause this game only has one. Thale's officer salvage sniper rifle has the one scope that doesn't suck. And it is too much in some locations. Figures.

I guess in the future Humanity goes full stupid? i.e. sunglasses are too high tech, door locks are too high tech, machetes are too high tech, motorcycles are too high tech, claymores are too high tech, vaulting over a knee high rail is too high tech...etc.

Really? The specs I've seen have been awful, and it's living up to the reputation. Lowest total damage per mag, lowest dps, 3 second seize time on even a partial charge, extreme dispersion, terrible optimal (even the smg out ranges it). I have yet to see anyone kill with it, or run it for that matter.
Fun fact, charging the gun actually LOWERS it's dps by a significant margin. 1.4 sec charge time is terrible for a CQC weapon. It's the highest ROF for a pistol simply because they chopped 30% off the scrambler.
I love my Gallente gear, but they really screwed the pooch here, even the PLC is more viable. |
