So, I've been absent from Dust 514 for a while, and I'm looking to get back into it. I used to use Minmatar suits, and seeing as how there's been a big suit update to Dust 514, I've decided to take another crack at the game.
Seeing as how I was kind of a pub last time I played, I want to know if any of you guys have any good fittings, skill suggestions, or tactics you can suggest for someone with their eyes on medium Minmatar suits. Like the assault. (Though I will play Logi.)
tl;dr: I want your tips, tricks, etc. as to how to be a good medium Minmatar.

if min assualt-
use hit-n-run tactics
never stay in a fight for too long
kill with aggression and speed
know when to take cover or kill someone before they kill you
use your speed to your advantage
for logi-
preferrably have reps and nanite with you
dual tank
stick with team mates or lonewolf but still help the team
dont stick to one area for too long
use speed to your advantage if possible
dont stick around heated battles if nessaccery

Depends on you basic loadout and how you want to attack the front. Minmatar is biased toward hit and run style tho.
I have lvl 5 electronics and engineering
This fit is my Standard setup for hit and run. I usually hard flank like scouts but use cover and movement to close in or keep your distance. Move cover to cover, use stamina( it regens really quick so don't be stingy) By all means pick your battles.....this is not STAND AND DELIVER suit. You pick an angle of attack, kill as much as you can, and then jet when the enemy starts focusing on you; here is my advanced minmatar assault
High Slots: 3
Complex Shield Extender x2
Complex Shield Recharger or Energizer
Low Slots: 2
Enhanced CPU upgrade
Complex Ferroscale
Weapons:
RS-90 Combat Rifle or BK-42 Assault Combat Rifle
M209 Assault SMG
Flux or Locus Grenade
Stats:
CPU 348/367
PG 56/59
Shield HP 333
Armor HP 251
EHP 584
Shield Recharge: 37.07 HP/s Energizer gets you 42 HP/s but shields will be reduced
Armour repair rate is 0 but bugged to have 1HP innate rep/ or you can swap with a Reactive plate of your choice to get reps if you want.
movement : 5.30 m/s
sprint spd: 7.79 m/s
If you want a higher overall EHP you can swap out the ferroscale for standard armor plates. I only use armor as a buffer in case shields go down. I don't fight on armor unless necessary. However, be careful of the speed penalty...You will lose the speed advantage if you take an enhanced or complex Armor plate. Speed is life if you find yourself outgunned or taking too much fire.

i generally use a std assualt that is not too expensive but not too cheap
min assault M-1
2-3 basic or enhanced shields
1 cardiac reg/1 kin kat
1 basic armor plate
but now that i have lvl 5 precision enhancers and range amps. i use
high slots
2 shields
1 complex precision enhancer
low slots
1 complex range amp.
1 cardiac reg. or 1 armor plate/rep
