not sure if its a bug or if it just because everybody is trying out their new gear, but im getting extreme lag issues. not sure, but i think its mostly when im using the cloaking device. i'll have to ask around though to confirm that one.

I've tried to play 3 matches so far and I've been lagged/disconnected out of each of them. It just turns into massive rubber band lag spikes and the mice crackle out too. I haven't been using cloaks. |

i havnt gotten it that bad, but i must have lagged out really bad this one time. this guy managed to use melee to kill me when i wasnt even close enough for him to do so.
that, and im also getting the classic 'take damage behind walls' lag issue.

I haven't been able to play at all, every match I enter I lag and when the game goes back to normal I'm dead. I thought the problem was me so I deleted the game and made a fresh install...the game is still lagging.................. |

Seems at least once a match lag hits me in the form of my shots don't register or on the flip side, I'm in the middle of a fire fight and the person I am fighting has the advantage, only to kill him because he stops firing for a few seconds....
My ping rate isn't the best(ranges from 40-50), but that shouldn't cause the kind of issues I am seeing.
I'm beginning to wonder if tranquility can keep up with all the resources needed to run 2 full games... 2,500Ghz of power is a lot, but when you have anywhere from 30k-50k people logged on, then you drastically reduce the amount of resources available to each player. Couple that with the actual strain of running the game and we have some issues.
They use time dilation in eve, which is fine and reduces the load, but it still it seem's like there is still an enormous load on the system.

been lagging every match I played, making it very hard to knife since I lag straight through my enemys sometimes!
please fix.
I'm seeing cloaked scouts everywhere... they're not invis.

I think its a combination of the past lag issues already present + new items being spammed because they're new (like the cloak) + the constant having to check on suit bonuses during game for deployed EQ. I've been lagging significantly more this patch and I have excellent ping rates.

About three days after 1.8 I got extreme lag for about two straight weeks. It was infuriating. It's been relatively okay lately. |
