Before the 1.8 update i have aquired various dropsuits that were very expensive such as my amarr heavy dropsuits, all of my scout dropsuits including my gk.0, but when the update was released the skill points going toward those suits were removed rendering those dropsuits obsolete until i invest in them again which is something i do not wish to do. so please do something about this problem. |

Then just put your SP back into it. You still have that SP.  "You don't want to" is kind of defeating your own purpose here.

I'm not crying for a refund, i am just somewhat confused/upset about why they would remove skill points that us players have put towards our favorite dropsuits only to have them rendered useless after an update |

They gave you back the ISK for your skill books what did you spend it on?

CCP didn't render them useless, that is on you. YOU are not choosing to reinvest the SP not anyone else.

No, you still have the suits. They did not take them away.
What they did was take the SP and put it into the unallocated pool and give you back all the ISK you spent on dropsuit skillbooks.
You can either skill back into what you had before and use it again, or spec into something different and sell the suits when we get the market in 6 years.
Choice is up to you.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

wrong I do not have those suit s they cleared out the Dropsuit command had to start over. I got 2 mill sp

with the 2 million I got for my commands I was only able to buy minmar at level 3 .,I had 2 suits fully loaded .
not paid back enough
I spent a lot of time online to get those suits built up only to find out we got screwed again, worse than 1.7

Pretty sure I got back all the isk and sp I put in but i didn't keep track. i have my suits but I'm skilled out of them so if I want them back pretty easy to skill back in.
On a side-note, I'd be interested to hear how someone can be in the game since beta and be broke. I've been playing maybe 4 months and have 3.4M SP after the last weekend and the rebalance and 110M ISK.
