Just suck. You can still be seen when cloaked even if your walking and this snap shot scan feels unrewarding. I feels like your not getting full scan radius.Glad I only specced cloaks to lvl 3 cause they're useless and to anyone who thinks they aren't needs to get their brain checked.
Edit: I do love the fact that you can scan re's on objectives now. |

lol I know he's angry his re's got nerfed, but their still viable because not many people are using scanners.

Try play against an entire team that are running around with shottys and are cloaked and then tell me they suck. Cloaks are broke. |

I just did I could see them clear as day and I was scanning them. They're not hard to deal with you just gotta have good awareness. |

So I saw. We duked it out a few games ago. It was a lot of fun too. 
Also, the cloak is far from useless. Yea, you can still see people if you look closely, but I've already had a few scouts vanish on me while shooting at them. It seems to work best in brightly lit areas, though in darker sections, yea, they're pretty easy to spot.
Hopefully CCP won't nerf the heck out of it...

Cloaks are intended, scanner are useless, not because the snapshot scan, but because the recharge time that is super long.
30 second for a 1 sec scan is too much, they should halve the recharge time.
1.8 it's so secret that nobody know what will be in it, even after patch notes..
