Decent patch, I just hate how the Gallente got the short end of the stick in weapon balance and medium suit balance.
But the most important lesson is build your suits around their strengths or you will suffer and you will die horribly. Unfortunately that includes the Gallente commando and assault.

Used to be that I could fit stacked damage mods on my Assault Gk.0 while having a decent tank but now I can't. Was going to ask everyone how they'd fit their Gk.0s yesterday but I just decided to wait and see.

You will definitely need 1 complex repairer, but the most obvious fit is dual tanked comp extenders and basic plates, or 2 enh 1 comp react and 1 repairer.
Weapon would be an AR and a magsec.

Hmm.
I thought I addressed that part.
Weapons I'll give you. That's basically it. Gal Assault is no more hard done by than any other assault - my Amarr Assault is having serious issues punching through stacked plates, for example. (There are only two reasons you use that suit and one is extremely situational, even though it just got buffed)

The Assault suit has bonuses to weapons that suck while every other assault, although not great, got bonuses to working items. The Gallente suits also remain crappy copies of Caldari suits. But Caldari do it better except brick armor tanking. The passive armor repair is also no redeemer.
This is why I say they got the short end of the stick.

The Gal scout is the only good suit we have :( at least it dragged the shotgun from garbage to bad ass.
