The good ol' Combat Rifle.
CCP, that thing does so much DPS that it still shreads everything to pieces.
And it has the best damage profile, it's not as affected by the prof changes.
Fix the bloody thing, give it more burst delay.
A high burst damage weapon with barely any burst delay is just a high everything weapon.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Cat has a good point, most other rifles i can actually take a hit or two, combat rifle is still instant melt. |

honestly there are currently other more important issues than the combat rifle doing more dps than other rifles in this game...

The CR did eat me a couple of time but I was in squishy suits so it was hard for me to tell.

My ScR has been brutalised all day by the heavies.
I've been using an RS-90 on my logistics suit instead.
God damn. 50 damage per shot = I can't miss a single one to kill a heavy. Or even some mediums.
Let alone the 600 armour scouts I can barely hit cos they move so fast and dance so much.
