I'm still unhappy. It's the only weapon I got to prototype level. It's literally the only weapon I really liked, so now I don't really like any weapons.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

I admit that the pistol seems worse if you're used to the faster rate of fire and pull the trigger too quickly, but this much of a decrease is still pretty awful, and I dislike it, and I can't afford to spend points on anything else.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

I am a fool. If I had realized that the Scrambler Pistol was this much worse, I may not have gotten the Amarr Logistics Suit again. I am ruined, and I should probably kill myself to escape the shame. Why wasn't this mentioned in the update notes?

Words cannot express how upset I am. It's not just the nerf, though. It's that It was not mentioned, and that I'm sure that it will never be decent again.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

This change is the only thing in the patch that I care about. I don't care about any new suits. I don't care about cloaks. I don't care about different bonuses. This one change has ruined the game for me. I spent today looking through all of the other weapons, and I could not find any that I like. Any range and ammo and clip size increases do nothing to mitigate this travesty. I was not expecting to dislike this patch. I had read blogs, and seen all the changes for dropsuits, and rifles, but I had never heard anything about changes to the fire rate of the scrambler pistols. I did not expect for this patch to make me want to quit, but It's not just a nerf, it completely changes the way that this weapon functions. I do not believe that it was overpowered. It's probably not useless now to some people, but it is keeping me from enjoying this game now.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

I was already using the Carthum Assault variant. The fire rate is still much too low. The burst is alright, but not good enough for me to want to use it all the time like I did previously. The bullets are all over the place, and it still isn't as fast as it should be.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

Yesterday, in experimenting with all the sidearms, I had no issue getting kills with it.
It's still the strongest sidearm if you aim for the head and have the skill to not miss (although the Magsec is probably the easiest to use).
Perhaps if you previously spammed the ScP trigger hoping to get a hit, I could see how this might not be a welcome change.
But it's a sidearm, and sidearms (particularly ones with 450% headshot bonus) shouldn't be primary weapons. They should be finishing weapons, and they finish just fine -- even after the ROF nerf.

It was MY primary weapon. My secondary was the laser rifle, for people outside the scrambler pistol's Range.
I can shoot people with the scrambler pistol just fine, I'm not spamming it to get a single hit in, but now it fires too slowly to kill well at all. before the decreased rate of fire, it was not more lethal than rifles. Now it is unbearable. I don't know what you mean by finishing weapon. Any fire arm can get the last hit in. That means nothing.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.
