This was not supposed to happen. They said, both in post and on the dev blog that it would not happen.
I was planning to run around in my Gallente Logistics suit. I planned all the numbers out for what I could fit and how I would do it... It was only going to take a single Complex CPU extender to fit it. Nope. Don't even need that. 25% reduction to cloak field fitting cost was there.

I was wondering what happened. My scout can't fit a cloak. Figured it was bugged. How in the world did this pass their testing. I found this problem out in like 10 mins after I installed the patch.

Saw this in the very first game I played today. I wasn't even angry. Honestly, I just laughed because this is totally what I expected and it's also basically my worst Dust nightmare. Battle Logis with cloaks? Balance >.< |

I am going to lol so hard when ccp fixes these bugs and people cry respec because they misspent their sp into broken guns or suits

Fitted a Basic Cloak to my Logi ck.0
Managed 612 CPU, 96 PG, 477 Shield, 94 Armor. Hmm.

Seems like a lot of oversights in 1.8 but they will be addressed. Don't go speccin' into things you'll be regrettin' when they get fixed. Crazy how many oversights there are though haha.

It's a happy, if temporary, coincidence for me since the only suit i'm skilling into until after the patch is Mini logi, primarily to run el cheapo in the SVER. Because, you know, CCP.
This makes things a little more interesting than i expected. lol.

they already stated it will be hot fixed, as far as I can tell the hotfix patch notes is as long as the 1.8 one.
consider they intend to hot fix every single suit except scouts( which will also be fixed but not changed ), pretty sure i shouldn't spend my sp for now |
