Like predicted the ION PISTOL is a useless POS
The charge duration seizes the gun for 3 seconds without being able to switch, partial charge also seizes the gun.
The DPS is the worst out of all side arms (as expected)
Normal firing the gun, or charge firing is basically saying "hey let me let you kill me"
The hip fire spread is gigantic, but that just adds to it being a POS
For the Federation!

I just played my first match with it and had Sataroi Particle (sp?) stare at me whilst I aimed down the sights, charged and fired three times in a row and did literally nothing. Apparently the Gallente Assault seriously does need a dispersion reduction on it because it can't hit anything directly in front of it, even if they're holding still.
That or it has some -serious- hit detection issues.

I just one shotted some medium frame guy (closer inspection showed that it was a PROTO suit) while flying through the air....... 4 times. but yea, the regular fire is garbage. and the overheat is silly.

It also fires multiple bullets with one trigger. Wastes 2 bullets, only fires one. Also range sucks. |

I killed a prototype Caldari Sentinel with the regular fire after stripping its shields away. Surprise, using it as a secondary can work!
