          My idea for the Amarr HAV turret is, it would charge up like the Scrambler Rifle, but before it lets out the rage, there would be a pause then a large blast followed by a mass laser. What are your ideas?

          Large ERM Laser from Mech Warrior. Fires a beam with a set duration that deals a set amount of damage over that period of time. Holding the beam over the target inflicts maximum damage to the target, but if the target moves only a portion of damage is done.
  Fires 3-8 time before over heat.
  Either that or a pulse laser. Operating like either the AScR or the regular ScR.
  The Amarr small turrets are supposed to operate like heavy ScR from the information I have seen.

          They need to remove ammo completely from laser weapons. Heat is enough of a mechanic. 
  Seriously think about it, tanks didn't need ammo for some reason, that was considered balanced at the time. Laser weapons advantage should be that they are ammoless. They can be given longer cooldowns and higher feedback damage.
  Heavy laser would be beast on a heavy in the current 1.7 build but we are losing that bonus anyways. Heat build up should be the same as a light laser, however the damage is high enough to pose a risk to tanks/dropships. The trade off here is a very slow cooldown period. This coupled with a very large overheat blast and more damage upclose to prevent it from being OP at taking down dropships that aren't trying to land. 
  LAVs would take less damage since they move faster and the heavy laser deals more damage the longer you are firing. 
  Tank Lasers should use cap. Or maybe that's what the heat system allready is. You have a battery and if you overload the cap battery it blows up. Tanks that don't need to get more ammo would be super usefull. |

  No one in this game wants the Amarr HAV more than I do. That is a fact.
  I would die if that was the turret.
  Leave that to Baneblades (...yeah my devious plot is to suggest Super Tanks)

          Honestly, I was thinking more like a scaled up Laser Rifle. Having it work like a Assault Scrambler Rifle seems too much like the Blaster Turret we already have. And given the Minmatar turret will likely be like a modern battle tank turret we need something a that stands out against the pack. A laser that does more damage as it sustains fire with the potential of overheating and not being able to fire (admittedly, like the blaster turret) sounds very Amarr. |

  Surely, there will be two turrets. Laser and scrambler. The laser would be long range and the scrambler would be short range with an optional charge if you hold the fire button down like the rifle.
  The overheat would be the limiting factor on both.

          Amarr Beam Cannon: Heavy Infantry Anti Shield Weapon
  Slightly larger than a forge gun yet twice as sleek, the front portion of this cannon slowly opens like a 6 sided scrambler rifle as it charges. The charge can be held, and once released, a blast is released that lasts 3 seconds (improved by some skill), doing increased damage the longer it is applied to a single target, though can be aimed at multiple targets if desired. The weapon immediately enters a state of cooldown for a couple of seconds before it's ready to charge again.

  WHAT MORE CAN IT DO?!   Wow I never thought this would happen but the year of playing with the Gunnlogi has really made me fall in love with the Caldari and the strategies of using shield.
  I'm actually looking forward more to raining death with missiles from a Caldari fighter or gunship at this point than to an Amarr HAV.
