In recent weeks of non-stop playing, I have noticed many small details of Dust that seem half-finished or non-existent that would really improve the overall game play experience.
1. The mini map should have all the cardinal directions (north, south, east, west) not just north. I find it annoying to have to consciously think about the compass when trying to point out an enemy location on the map. I can't imagine it would be that hard to add three more directions to the mini map, and I personally think it would lead to a much more fluent game play experience.
2. Win/loss ratio on the character sheet/stats page. I think it is very strange that the only character stat you cannot see your character's stats page is your win/loss ratio. I don't really expect them to put the amount of wins and losses, like they do with kills and deaths, but they could list the ratio itself. I just find it annoying to have to go to the leader boards to see what my win loss ratio is, because in my opinion, win/loss is more important than kill/death.
3. Remote vehicle recall. I can't count the amount of times i've lost an LAV or tank because it was spawned in an unreachable location. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to recall your vehicle from your vehicle spawn menu without having to physically recall the vehicle? It could even work in place of a mobile CRU.
4. Infantry only ambush and domination. I am not suggesting that they remove vehicles from these game modes all together, but rather add new versions that are exclusively infantry based. I have completely stopped playing ambush and domination, because it seems that every match I join the map gets littered with tanks, dropships, or both. I feel that ambush especially should have an infantry only mode, because unless both teams have vehicles, the team with them ,more often than not, has a distinct advantage. Unless in oms, in which case the opposing team can counter the vehicles with blasters and railguns.
I feel that these small changes would significantly increase the fluency of certain game modes and the game as a whole. Thank you for reading my suggestions and I hope to see you all on the battlefield. |

I could give you 10 reason why the Dust team cant get the Amarr tank style right but they are all out of care.

I don't think he said anything about removing Ambush/Dom modes that DO allow vehicles, just adding additional infantry only options. |

1) YES!!!!! 2) Eh, couldn't hurt 3) Depends, if you have to be looking at the vehicle AND you are unable to recall through surfaces AND there is a range limit then ok, sure. 4)This would give ambush a purpose. Most FPS players are used to slandered "Team Deathmatch" type games and vehicles are really interfering with that.

If the level design would force a different playstyle, then maybe they would re-learn ... just sayin |
