A new piece of equipment which is thrown down in the style of a nano hive. Blockades cannot be repaired, and each team is limited to where they can place anti-tank hives. (Designated areas where they can be constructed only) similar to the blockades found in enemy territory wolfenstein if you can recall.

Once the anti-tank hive is on the ground, a player must use a repair tool on the hive in order to construct the blockade to full HP and to full effectiveness, else it is inactive and useless.

tanks cannot move past these blockades, but can destroy them slowly. (estimated 5 large MLT railgun blasts). Other methods of destruction could be viable, such as AV grenade spam and RE stacks equivalent to that of the 5 MLT railgun blasts. Tanks take minor damage if they ram them, but do not take catastrophic unrecoverable damage. Example : Full speed impact = -100% shields for armour tanks, and -15% shields for shield tanks.
*basic rep tools take 15 seconds to construct the blockade
*advanced rep tools take 10 seconds to construct the blockade
*prototype rep tools take 7 seconds to construct the blockade
Why i believe these blockades are a good idea if implemented correctly..
*Tanks have to much room to breathe, and can roam the fields freely as it stands now
*These blockades could add more of an adrenaline rush to those tankers if they become trapped in a tight spot due to blockades increasing player satisfaction.
*Players will enjoy the game once again, if they know they can trap and disable tanks using these blockades
*These blockades would add a whole new exciting approach to tank warfare. keeping the game flowing with new ideas and strategies.
I'd love to hear your feedback on this idea, as i believe it is probably my best equipment idea ... period.
PS: please remember these hives cannot be placed freely, as to prevent item abuse or unwanted restrictions.

whyyyyyyy...............do you keep comeing up with bad ideas and threads about so called 'op claoked scouts''?
also........my madruagr will just stroll through your bloackade with a nitrous injection adn random firing blaster cannon.

Guess id just pull out a dropship, and why AV nades there for vehicles, and blockades aren't vehicles -_-

I made 2 and neither had ideas in it :p and yeah they were bad threads :P
Your tank wouldn't get over it, your tank would hit the equivalent of a wall and would just take damage.
And the AV grenades can damage the blockade to stop them from being unkillable for the whole game, because any role more or less can hold those grenades.
