Well, theres a lot of posts going around right now claiming PC is broken, theres no way DNS should have taken over, and all this other assorted lunacy. Personally, I don't really mind honestly. I find it interesting to log onto dust charts every day and see how much closer that pie graph is to being one alliance. This, in my opinion, is the best way to make a change.
If DNS succeeds in taking everything over, I think it may prompt CCP to actually do something about it. Which would be good for the game as a whole. Now, don't mistake me, I am thoroughly disappointed things ended up this way. Despite our alliance's best efforts we were unable to stop this from happening. The disappointment is even more powerful in that I really thought we had a good chance. But, things fell through. AE/NS out meta-gamed us, and out gunned us more often then we did the same to them. They won fair and square.
So, heres to our competition and to change!!
To those who beat us: Good game, it was fun (and often times frustrating). STB isn't going to disappear and I suspect will fight each other again one day. But until then, its nice living with the fact that at least will be the ones choosing when we want to fight now
To those who fought with us: It was a valiant effort, and definitely the first of its kind in dust, or at the very least, the largest scale conflict thus far (considering the amount of land that was at stake). Weather you flipped sides or sunk with the ship, I salute all of whom that fought for as long as you did.
To those who complain and moan about how PC is broken now (not including the ones who participated in the war): Seriously, you guys need to shut your traps. If your one of the people who sat out there with indifference until after the fact, then this is pretty much what you all deserve.
So yeah, Just a random little outtake on this whole situation. Basically, im a little disappointed we didn't win, but I mean, it would have been the same for the other side if they had lost. And otherwise im content with whats happening. Now we sit back and see if this is in fact what CCP wanted for PC, and if they didn't, see how they go about changing it. All the while the fat cats get to sit on their money printers regardless of what CCP decides to do. I hope you spend it well when we actually have something to spend isk on in this game!
