since it is for suit command and all equipment(besides RE's) is getting nerfed to hell, will dropsuit upgrades be refunded too? because im sure that anyone with equipment wants to be rufunded on that. CCP please take this into consideration as thousands of players that may want to change full out will be left vary dissapointed.

Dropsuit upgrades and equipment are still useful, if you don't want to use equipment because it's crappier now then get better equipment, would you ONLY use remote explosives or do you need ammo sometimes? I have everything in dropsuit upgrades to level 5 and ya don't hear me complaining, then again I'm a logi but still, adapt.

The answer is no.

-We have had several months to prepare and save SP.
-We have had several SP generating events.
-Dropsuit upgrade skills cover all suits, I understand sentinels don't have equipment slots but your nyain san not Lord brittish.
-Weapons are also of use to all suits, even if they arent useful.

I would have liked to see the full respec, it's healthy for the game. CCP chose to let them earn bonus SP in events, whilst we promote Aurum SP boosters.

its not even a terribly bad thing at this point, most of us have been playing for a LONG time, and things grow stale.

its a free game, and people shouldn't feel guilty for putting the controller down for months at a time to do other things.

That's not all we need . Bonuses changed , new weapons were introduced , mods are reconfigured and play styles will be so much different than before .

Why have SP's locked into items that are of no use and these people who say that , " They will be of some use again " sound silly while they play with everything but what they consider will " be of some use again" . It's sad that I can not maximize my effort or the SP's that I have because they will be locked into a worthless void .

Even with the player market , selling items still doesn't release those SP's locked into those items so then they will be even more worthless .

Ok The guy here ho said all we need is drop suit command is a veteran player that doesn't want to loose their status on the leader boards or simply doesn't like competition. great for you but not everyone like that becasue the weapons are going to be changed and the equipment and that will be drastic dust 1.7 will die and 1.8 will spawn many technologies such as the bolt pistol and stealth camouflage. the suit will not have the same bonuses nor with the equipment or the weapons it will be broken the only people who will wish to play dust from there on are those who can afford the skill or doing so this by far is going to go on The Guinness World Records for worst game to get your hopes up high and utterly waste your time. Hey if there is no refund ad respec to drop suit upgrades and weaponry and for those of you who said they are not going to do a full infantry respec as listed before im moving on from scrub 514. i suggest you do the same before the game conditions you too far....since video games are a form of entertainment that involve the conditioning of the mind but that's boring brain stuff...smart will understand.

Most are not and if you have been playing since the beginning and you are against SP's being refunded then you are one who is afraid of competition and are an elitist and afraid of those who are under you rising to the top . I have looked at the respect thread and seen how in the beginning SP's flowed like water and most reaped the benefit . You were able to learn what was important and how to use skill points even when making mistakes but now it's not the same .

Newer players should be given the chance to maximize their SP's and in order to do that a infantry refund is in order .
