Racro 01 Arifistan 501st Knights of Leanbox INTERGALACTIC WARPIGS 219	Posted - 2014.03.22 04:45:00 - [1] - Quote as much as i really did not wnat to get it i have been forced to.. the railrifle is an overpowered fuckn bullshit pices of retarted ** weapon. it works in every range. has too short of a charge up time, has ** all kick. no dispersion. a large enough clip to drop 3+ people in one go. the rail rifle beats every wepaon i have wich is. assault rifle laser rifie shotgun submachinegun swarm launcher(you know had to mention it. it counts as gun) i ahve even seen it beat scrambler rifles,combat rifles, and eveyr other form of weapon. generally this happens even ona suit that has less health and lower tiered gun than the opposing suit that has better gear. and majority of the time even begins to shoot first. so just in order to compete. i had to go and get a rail rifle.....this was never intended but i ahd to do it. haveing to get a wepaon everyone else is useing just to compete and make kills should never be an option. the nerf for the rail rifle has been long over due and is comeing in 1.8.................along with a nerf to every other rifle that dosnt even need to be nerfed.

Require the rail rifle to charge up for every shot (assuming they made it tactical) and you'd have balance. IT'd be high alpha damage, but low dps because you'd be charging every shot. This allows it to have it's advantages of range and power without being OP. And it'd fall better into Caldari philosophy of making every shot count. Amarr are less concerned for their ammo since they use crystals that never run out (or at least, run out very very slowly) Best PVE idea I've seen. Fixed link.

I get your frustration, but the nerf to all weapons sounds like a TTK buff. players always complained about being shot before they can react in their 200k fittings, so they demanded time to kill buffs so they can retaliate and have a chance at fair combat. This is an incredibly delicate balance though.. if TTK is buffed too much, protostomp will have a whole new meaning. We (nyain) will make sure of it >:) hehe. You never tried it, you have to be able to time the charge properly, get 42 rounds, and that spool up gets you killed quite often, as that .25 sec charge is enough time for, say, ScR to shoot you more than once. It's not as easy as people seem to think. Yes, they are OP, but only at range. (Except Assault Variant, of course.) And AA doesn't really help all that much while ADS, as you would be at range. As to "little to no skill", that is not necessarily true. I'm a shotty scout, among other things. But I use RR more often. Not because it is FOTM, but because it was Caldari, which is the same reason I'm speccing into Bolt Pistol and MagSec. I don't need luck, I have ammo. The assault rifles are only imbalanced if you use aim assist. Without aim assist, RRs can't hit **** in CQC due to their RoF, while gallente ARs mow everything down. Remove the aimbot.
