A lot of people complain about suits, vehicles, and other stuff in the game. I really don't understand it. I don't complain much anymore because I know the perfect solution. Like the title says, it doesn't hurt to try (but it does hurt your wallet & SP, so it's kinda a contradiction). Like for example, a lot of people complain about tanks. They try every tactic they know but they still can't take them down. Someone once told me "If you can't beat them, join them." That's not a bad idea. While there are complaints about tanks, you can start using tanks and make them better and you can be just as good as the guys you're complaining about. And that goes for anything else in the game. If you actually try it and get good kills with/in it, you won't be complaining about it anymore. Some people think different, but like I said before, just try it.

No.. then this game will really turn into a tank game. How about we get "balance". Tankers QQ until they got what they have now.. CCP proves is enough babies cry they will give them what they want. |

That's called following the flavor of the month. You are right in that it doesn't hurt you but it sure makes the game less fun on both sides

I see. Well, I had that happen to me also. I tried medium suits for a few hours and I didn't like it. I never complained about them though. I'm a heavy type of guy.

I've been tanking before 1.7 was even a though, and even before I became an AVer.
I'll still complain about them, as it is still EZ-Mode. |

Dude i been here on that dust. before 1.7 if you was in a tank you was cool. I rode with quite a few i would jump out cause i thought they was gonna die. now its like okay yeah your cool man when you see a tank....What we have now with tanks in general is broken.
They didnt have to nerf like they did. What did CCP do??? They spoon feed tankers gave them MLT tanks that can do or almost do what 500,000 ISK tanks did pre 1.7..Honestly they nerf AV then Lower the tanks cost. I dont care if its a tanks that 60,000 ISK Metal tin can should not be able to shut down have the map. MLT AV should be able to take down a MLT Tanks.
But we cant get balance because we also have to think about dropships and the crazy cost of flying them.. |

I tried the RR Heavy thing today. I felt so dirty. I have to admit I don't like the charge thing so I'm not comfortable with it and didn't do great, but I could see the potential. If it didn't have that pause when triggered, I'd be that Fatty with a Kaalakiota making people want to Biomass. Oh, sweet baby Jeebus the amount of damage delivered with that range....

You say we (tankers) were cry babies... if you got killed in 3 shots from 300 meters away to lose 1.3 mil isk you'd be angry too! However, yes, this nerfed swarms way too hard... OR, a recently discovered glitch by Judge Rhad shows that swarms aren't doing half as much damage as they're supposed to. Swarms right now are supposedly doing...

Funny thing is, I did the reverse. I once had a heavy RR fit, then after finding out people abused the fit I dicided to replace the heavy suit with a starter fit; there was no difference in performance.
I'd say walk in my shoes for a day, but you probably still won't understand.
