I thought it would be good to try and get some experienced players since we are new. The main reason we want to try this game, is because I have heard that this game is set up well for clans. We love to have fun and use mikes. Hope to see ya'll on the battlefield. On quick question tho, What does an alliance do, and how do you join/create one? ANy good ones that will help get us onto our feet? Thanks! Ahhhh my trust ole shotty and SMG on my scout suite.

You're going to have to gain some serious rep before an alliance will pick you up your gonna need a corp of serious basment neckbeards for at least 6 months Start with pubs and bounce into some Faction Warfare. Pay attention to skill point events and boost yourselves up. Don't except any blueberry with a heartbeat. And don't, for the love of God send people mail in game for using Proto. Our new player experience is not that great, once you get out of the academy you will thrown in with people who have been playing a lot longer and have 30 mil plus SP. You can mitigate this by playing in squads with your guys. Teamwork is OP, and a standard rail rifle is pretty damn powerful. If you are coming I'm another game and hve been playing together, you are already a leg up on half the people playing this game. Never play as a single (unless you are a masochist like me) with a newer character. You will find that a lot of guys run proto gear a lot. There are many players here that use their gear as a crutch, and some pretty bad imbalances right now that are changing in the next build (25 march I think). Feel free to shoot me an email in game as well. If you want to squad up, let me know too. Once you are out of the academy you can squad with anyone. I can explain a lot of things and answer any questions you have. Welcome to New Eden! P.s don't put sp in anti-vehicle for the time being...sh*t don't work! (Except forge guns)

If you had stacks of ISK, it would be easy to buy one of the better players and stuff. But maybe just one guy who's okay or would make out a deal. You don't have to but I found that with proper instructions, you're far more capable early on with 1-3 Mil than most people think. Hey there, feel free to join "DJINN." chat channel. its a public channel for all mercs to join. i can help you out there with most things. i can cover the skill tree and how best to set up your character. specializing is key in this game when you first start playing. you don't want to waste your SP all over the place. i can also cover alliance information and any other thing you might need. there are lots of good players here and most are willing to help. welcome to dust and just remember, adapt or die. that is the EVE universe motto. o7 word

My tankers tho are kinda baffled on how long it takes to skill into the tanks. Any tips for them. I have seen some of the CB's on YT and tankers make a big difference like they do in BF.
