Increaseing dmg of AV will only make it 1 sided and if you was fully skilled in to AV proto with like say prof 3-5 it should only take 2 of you focus firing to make me run or to even kill me........unless my small guns get you(which will be what normally happens)

tanks are balanced in PC. Every tank you see is at least 450k and millions upon millions of SP to operate. They are rarely out on a mission to stomp infantry...well, sort of. Each team will have 1 infantry stomper tank and probably 3-5 rail tanks protecting the blaster tank/sniping ADS'.
it works because the losing team will quickly go bankrupt and each team has multiple tanks of similar skill. In PC, the balance is more an issue of how worthless Madrugars in in TvT battles; hell, if you see a madrugar blaster, it's either a noob or one of the best tankers in Dust.
CCP did a great job of balancing tanks around PC, which is what we asked for, but at the same time, this balance screwed everyone outside of PC.
I guess...add webifiers.
