patrick, you cannot deny that ads's are ludicrously overpowered. they dont even require nearly as much skill as everyone says. the first match i used an ads i went 27-0, which is just wrong. also, isk should not be a balancing factor as they are basically proto gear and proto is not meant to be run for profit, but for effectiveness

yup 50 SP for every kill they get, and we get 2000 sp for every ADS we kill, fun times.

Can someone please explain how ADS's are "ludicrously overpowered"? I'll admit they can be an annoyance and/or tactically viable in the right hands, but...
One Breach Forge round. If that doesn't work, two Assault Forge rounds.
Note: I've never even used an ADS before, so... ya, there's that. |

Pilot skill tends to make vehicles invincible as opposed to the hulls themselves.

For tanks, you can hide. For ADSGǪ.you better pray that your in one of the two maps that has buildings with roofs

Ok, it's become quite clear there is a little butthurt over us pilots. Let me cover a few points.
1) Yes, let's have an ADS event, they gave us scout events, heavy events, even the medium frames were somewhat involved in these last events, why not this?
2) It is quite obvious people think that piloting is easy mode. It isn't, we just make it look easy
3) On the easy part again, try saying that when you're the guy that everyone and their grandma grabs a particle accelerator, swarm and forge gun to take down, but they won't lift a finger to fight a tank.
4) Everyone knows that ADS pilots have egos, but it's only because we're better than you, it's nothing personal.
