Not a super impressive game, but the fact that this was the first game I played after I got the suit felt like it was meant to be.
Also, Scrambler prof 5 FTW
Tempted to re-skill into this suit when 1.8 rolls around...but at the same time I might only go to adv so I can also skill into amarr sentinel and commando...don't know yet.
As for why I was using the aurum dropsuit/weapon...I bought the amarr faction pack (thinking about buying another one lol)

Because of the increase to TTK?
Assuming we'll see more caldari suits in 1.8 Scramblers will dominate just like they did at the beginning of uprising against all the caldari logistics.
At least I hope...gotta make use of my 450+ Carthum ASCRs somehow lol

Might be prudent to hold off on medium-suit skilling if you think you might have buyers remorse when they get around to changing the slots and fitting that they didn't have time for in 1.8.
Dren and Templar equipment stats, wrong since release.

I did the same, to be sure my idea of switching from Amarr logi to Amarr assault was right. I am a fan, post 1.8 it'll be scram rifle with magsec for my Amarr assault.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Though I was having just as much fun with Amarr Logi, which I may dump some of my 9 mil or so free SP into for dat drop uplink bonus.

Ill spec most likely back into my Amarr Assault suit and a scout suit as i got all the Light Weapons unlocked, it doesnt really hinder me much in my choice of what scout suit to get.
But Amarr Assault + Templar SCR = Good Tears Supply

This video and the many "oh look how good I did" videos like it almost always show the player using the same OP mechanic. SPAMING SCANNERS!!! This guy was scanning the whole freaking time.
It takes very little skill to kill reds when you always know where they are at all times. Hopefully players like this and other players who need scans constantly to play will get their assess handed to them in 1.8 with scanner changes and more scouts with cloaks.
I look forward to the tears.

I always wanted to use the commando suit but I'm not a big fan of the Amarr esthetics
That said in its current state I can only get it to work by totally ignoring the mod bonuses and put rechargers and armour reps on it.
Shame its loosing the melee bonus.

I'm a logi at heart, and no you are wrong.
Just because I won't be able to "twirl scan" doesn't mean I can't use something like a proximity scanner to know where the enemy is constantly. I can go 40/1 with a sentinel, and guess what...those don't have equipment slots.
The thing is right now if the enemy can use scanners to always know where I am (although I usually have dampeners so that they can't), then I should be able to as well.
I know how to flank, but with enemy "twirl" scans in 1.7 it doesn't matter if you flank or not. In 1.8 I'll have the advantage from my ability to flank.

The two songs were credited at the end of the video with title and artist (I don't know them off the top of my head)
Both are from a genre called "Hardcore Techno" or simply just "Hardcore". It's my favorite...other than DnB of course.

It's the only semi-auto weapon in the game (that's actually useful and can be fired as fast as you can pull the trigger)
I love my fast trigger finger. Have used it to my advantage in SO many games.
Amarr Assault just lets me spam it more, and still be able to start with a charge shot lol

Back before 1.7 and the increase in TTK I would use the ASCR/SCR as my primary on a minmatar logistics suit.
Before uprising I was always using the tactical rifle on a minmatar suit.

Id have to do it on an alt. Amarr look great which is sad because gallente get shafted in dust. In eve gallente an amarr both have the coolest ships.
As much as I like lasers this is for blasters, rails, and drones.
