Woooo! Dark Souls 2 defeated! 40 straight hours of dying, sobbing, raging, and dying some more, along with some of the most beautiful set pieces I've ever seen in a game. And assuming the official site is right, only five people have beaten the game so far.  Now if only 1.8 would release already, this week would be just a bit better.
Also... **** the giants! 
Nova Knives are OP! Nerf em before you lose all your proto suits!

Grats to you, although I find that only 5 people having beaten it so far a little far-fetched. I beat it two days ago using a quality spear build. I hear ya on the raging and sobbing though, I did plenty of that in a couple sections. |

Didn't actually run a real build. Dex was around 20, vigor and vitality around 30 as well as endurance and agility about the same. I'm still not familiar enough with the game to make a real build. Hopefully the next playthrough, I can do something better.

I kinda figured, I'm guessing the site is off, but it still felt good to see that lol To be honest, I'd probably still be raging and sobbing if I had never summoned phantoms. It definitely would have kicked my ass a few dozen more times without a bit of assistance.

I think if I had played more, instead of waiting for information on weapons and armour to be released I'd probably be through DKS II by now.

I know 5 people personally who have beaten it, so yeah. I had to take a short break as I have been unable to log in to the server for 2 days. Not that I can't beat the game, I just feel that the invasions and jolly co-op are a part of the overall experience. Trying to figure out the problem at the moment. Running high dexterity dual wield claws right now for maximum silly. |

I was gonna do this, but then I realised I inadvertently killed the respec-er.

Lol I didn't even know there was one until I made it my mission to converse with all npc at length in an attempt to get them all to relocate to majula. Next up: flame whip, holy water flasks, throwing knives, dex/faith build |
