With new roles lot of SP became totally USELESS, totally not used. For me it's about 12/14 million SP that is going to burn uselessly (70% of my SP). (Logi equipements / Minmatarr weapons and Sidearm while i'm going to Amarr Commando, Full Amarr Stuff.)
At least give me the opportunity to transform it into something else.
I understand you don't want a full respec to avoid, full stuff warriors throught the whole game, avoid FOTM, and learning to player to spend their SP with caution BUT i got a solution to that : Making us able respec on a each skillbook. allowing you to save only 25% of the SP spend into THIS skill. (Not tree, but only this skill, ISK are not refunded)
a "skill" is per example : -Proficiencies -Operation (to use weapon) -Armor repair. -There's one skill for each equipements (exclude Nano which up nanite injecor AND nanohives) etcetc.... We need the ability to be able to respec EACH skill as we want BUT only 25% of the SP invested on this skill AND no ISK refund. AND a free (which give 100% of SP) refund on dropsuit command (only one) as you decided previously.
Exemple : If i've spend 10 million into equipement and i want to respec it it would give me 2.5 unallocated SP. (the 7.5 other are lost.) I must respec each equipement skill one by one losing 75% of the SP invested in each of them. It gives the opportunity to change roles BUT with a penality, you can't just "swap" roles and be as powerful than before. It avoid FoTM. And to be honest you changed all the rules, not really our fault.....We deserved an option like this.
Guys what do you think ? Give real opinion not just "It suckz loool". |

No. The only time a respec is ever allowed in my opinion is one that is ONLY needed as a result of an overhaul. Now, I'm of the opinion that CCP should have refunded the SP for the weapons as well due to the overhauls those got, but CCP is the only one that has the final say on that matter so it's out of my hands.
EDIT: That and we're already getting pretty good SP events anyways such as the #MillionCloneChallenge which gave everyone who participated 2 million FREE SP in 3 days and now we're getting a new event giving everyone another chance to earn an extra 750,000 FREE SP in two weeks plus ISK bounties and AUR items. So be glad we're getting that.

Because logi is not TOTALLY Overhauled ? You seems to forget they changed all the equipements right ? So you think we should be respec on equipements then ? |

Again, we just got awarded an extra 2-3 million FREE SP and now 6 days from now we'll be entering a new event netting us an extra 750,000. We are in no position to complain about this.
PS: We players were the ones who demanded those changes to the equipment. Don't forget that.

I love how people demand respecs, as if they could never, under any circumstances, get additional skillpoints to put into the new stuff any other way (oh wait, you can). I honestly wonder sometimes about our entitlement society.... |

Or, suck it up, play a couple weeks, and BAM, you will have BOTH your old skills, and the new 2.5M SP you want. |

Normal Weekly SP Cap: 180,000 SP at least. Normal Weekly Passive SP Gain: 171,000 SP at least. Normal Daily Login Bonus across the Entire Week: 42,000 (assuming you are at max login bonus)
Total SP in a Single Week: 393,000 SP at least. If you grind for just two measly weeks you will get 786,000 SP.
Even people with jobs have been able to reach their weekly cap. Assuming you complete 20-minute skirmish match with about 4,000 SP per match (just an example), that would take 45 matches to complete or 15 hours. Across a whole week, that's just 2 hours of gameplay every day.
