I know a lot of people just invest their sp into whatever the FOTM is but for me at least when 1.8 comes im goin all Caldari no matter how bad the suits are.....(even though the caldari stuff looks op :D)..... So who here is going to invest in their race entirely.....(doesnt mean u cant have an alt with other stuff).....no matter how hard it gets nerfed in the future?
If u do stick by your faction through thick and thin.. than u my friend were BORN (Your Faction)....Use it in your sig...BE PROUD!

I still have no points in Pythons despite them being the superior ADS simply because it's filthy Caldari tech.
It's bad enough I'm forced to use their railguns and missiles.

Clan Hannari, Sebiestor Tribe, Minmatar Republic, in that order.
When I can choose Matari tech then that is my preference. If I need to pick up equipment designed by a corporation loyal to another government to get the job done then I'll do so. Even stuff labeled as Minmatar is often designed by Ishukone.
I can use most weapons but prefer my Combat Rifle.
All my suit skills are in Minmatar but I'll wear no-skill versions from other races.
I fly Python Dropships because they will be close to the Matari ship when it is finally ready for battlefield use.

I'm Minmatar for life. Maybe it's because I enjoy being the underdog, but I didn't even know Minmatar was the underdog until I started playing. I just liked the lore that accompanied them and their relation to filthy Amarrians. I also love the design, logo and faction colour.
I use all Minmatar gear whenever possible and enjoy doing so. I never complain about the Minmatar being underpowered because I feel like their movement speed is truly a huge advantage. 1.8 is something I'm really happy for since it'll make my Assault Combat Rifle have almost 100 bullets in a clip which'll help against those armor tanking Amarrians.
Chances are that if you love Minmatar as much as me, you'll probably love the Helghast from the Killzone franchise too.

I've been minmitar assault since Feb 2013 and I plan on staying minmitar assault. I will eventually get scout and commando once my suit upgrades are all where I want them

I want my Gallente hook knife and/or Minmatar Prison Shank. I'm sick and tired of running around with Caldari Nova Knives and I sure as hell don't want to be caught dead with an Amarrian Gladiator sword.

1.8 is lookin pretty friggin awesome. Besides longer TTK so I can enjoy working you fools over. I'll never have to kill someone without using all Cal tech if I don't want to. I'm Caldari and I always will be

Well then Lore wise you might not feel so guilty my friend.
All races do have missile tech. It's just not as primary and prominent as the Caldari.
Even a Gallente Company, Roden Shipyards, uses Missiles.
And Rail Turrets? Hybrid weapons my friends. I don't care what CCPs stupid decision was to make Rails Caldari only in this game but in New Eden Lore, you're perfectly correct.

when minmatar assault was first added i was already running MD and speed/stam assault build from chrome and at the time it was the only self repping suit and i was already pure minmatar in EVE. it fell together to go minmatar assault then it got overshadowed by the armor buffs and drove me back to pilot. i look forward to min commando i will add a CR to the MD and scrub off in a LAV. i might kill a scout again.

Have created this character as 4th or 5th, after i figured that I want to be Minmatar.
Have skilled into Minmatar stuff only. Just after the event, I skilled into those golden heavy suits from the slavers, just to get rid of all the amarr crap in my inventory!
When the refund hits, I'll take those points to go into minmatar heavy/commando. |

Although born Ammatar, I'm full blown Amarr in game. I dabble in the other races occasionally when I need to use a specific weapon like snipers or shotguns or tank a specific damage type, like using caldari to tank through CRs and such. I was forced to use Gallente scouts since they were the only non-slave scout available, plus it's good training for when the Amarr scout drops, since they're basically the same suit right now. I only rarely use a weapon other than the ScR, and I've got prof 4 and fitop 4 in it. So yeah, I'm pretty dedicated.

I just finished reading The Empyrean Age, and had a huge Caldari boner reading the final chapters. The image of Tibus Heth in the middle of battle mowing down filthy gallente scum in his combat MTAC was amazing. You freedom loving tree huggers do not stand a chance against the great war machine that is Caldari.
