With no mention of bug fixes in the patchnotes plus the addition of new suits and cloaking.....something tells me its gonna get really laggy...................Thoughts?

I'm guessing they have a really big build set for fanfest, so fixing bugs in this one would be a waste of resources at this point.
At least that's what I'm hoping.

Maybe, maybe not.
I've been through EVE patches where the game was unplayable for 2 or 3 days after. I've been through EVE patches that were smooth as a baby's ass...
There's no way to tell until the patch hits. No amount of pre-release testing will find every bug, you need thousands of players doing everything at once to really tell |

exactly. we been complaining about the lag (well there's usually for some little smug tard who tries to say there is no lag) for a month now and there going to add stuff that's for surely going to add more lag ontop of the lag we already have not too mention 4-5 freeze ups and fatal errors every 3 hours. i guess just supposed to ignore all that and stare at the new shiny object like some kind of slack jawed morons who are easily distracted from the blaring issues.
u can ban the troll out of the forums but u can't ban the forums out of the troll.

ya it honestly felt like they were just clearing their plate for new stuff.
as of 1.8 they will have released all the suits and weapons originally promised for release.
theirs a vehicle, the pilot suit, and the player market left.
assuming non of that hits in 1.9 then it will be something we aren't yet aware of i.e something new. |

We need some hotfixes this time. Two months (give or take) until our fan fest build. We had one hotfix all of 1.7? At least one they told us about.

Why would they bug fix old code that will be scrapped after fanfest, at which they will present a port of dust 514 to a new engine for both ps3 and ps4?
You guys know CCP wrote off a huge amount of cash generate code in their financial report right? Its the old dust code. No press release about World of darkness beeing shut down so far.

A more fittinf name if fanfest build ends up being as awsome as cpms make out would be Phoenix. Still getting an Xbox one until i here that ps4 is defo happening
