I'm not saying that Dust's vehicle gameplay surpassed BF's vehicle gameplay. But in BF, it is truly about who sees who first. The customization is somewhat limited. As opposed to BF, where there are several different ways to fit your tank. Two blaster tanks battling it out can be fun to do and watch on a battlefield.
Not to mention, 3v3 or 4v4 tank fights on dust's battlefield can get sick. Only when the tanks aren't camping on the redline.
Just a thought.

A Railgun with two damage mods and as much armor as they can fit rolls the entire enemy squad, and rides off into the redline sunset.

The last few days of PC have been good tanking.
Lots of kills, lots of deaths, a clash of arms.
Couldn't really ask for more.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

We had this in chrome
Missiles were good, rails were good, blasters were meh but we had adv tanks and only needed proto and also we had more mods and skills and the difference between a 0SP tank and a 20mil tank was quite big
Problem was infantry like the OP cried about them as per usual and they got nerfed batted into hell for the next 6months and we lost more mods/skills and even the adv HAVs and now we even lost the logi DS/LAV/Scout LAV
Intelligence is OP

Bf42 tanking is (was) way better than Dust tanking.
Beyond that old title, TTK got so low in the BF series as to make tanking an exercise in who sees who first (i.e. unfun).
Dust tanking has a lot of potential, but still needs some work, IMO. |

You are right, two blaster tanks fighting it out is a good show....when they are on equal ground with the relatively same fittings.
Sadly, it usually comes out to who has the better tank, mods and turret.

CCPGÇÖs choice to not buff AV and instead give WP for damage against vehicles was an interesting decision that I did not see coming. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Also, in order to be more informed and balanced in my V/AV balance discussions I have skilled into tanks on two of my accounts.... yeah.... that was totally why I went tanks.

Lone wolf tanking in BF is for scrubs. Get a squad and wreck stuff regardless who sees who first, to get the most out of tanking in BF requires ...GASP...teamwork. i.e. 1 Support(Tanker and provides ammo), 2 engineers (1 on reps, the .50 cal and AA, the other flanking with AT, and is back-up reps) and a sniper in the command module also set to SOFLAMS.

Just a thought. You, talking about vehicle gameplay? lol
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim
