IT'S A TRAP!
Challenge: Upon dropsuit opperation respec, I will award tickets to players that skill up tiers 4 & 5 in basic suit opperation which do not award racial skill bonuses. Valid entries must hold a minimum of 4 million lifetime SP. Players under a defined sp thresholds scale will also recieve payout bonuses.
Reward:
Payout
Light Basic Dropsuit Command. Per Class
Lvl 4 = 9 tickets; Lvl 5 = 58 tickets
Medium Basic Dropsuit Command. Per Class.
Lvl 4 = 8 tickets; Lvl 5 = 17 tickets
Heavy Basic Dropsuit Command. Per Class.
Lvl 4 = 7 tickets; Lvl 5 = 17 tickets
Level Modifers
Under 7 million lifetime sp - 45.0% payout bonus
Under 9 million lifetime sp - 18.0% payout bonus
Under 14 million lifetime sp - 3.0% payout bonus
Above 14 million lifetime sp - 1.0% payout bonus
Claim rewards via clear video or still pictures. Must show empty dropsuit operations tree, lifetime SP, and the basic suits that you chose to skill into.

This is so dumb. A complete waste of SP. Those basic suits are more expensive than the specialized versions and less effective. Nuff' said.

I initially misread this as "dropship command challenge". I was hoping it was going to be based on getting people in your dropship and then crashing (extra points for recreating recognizable elements of real life aviation disasters?)

Long before any talk of dropsuit respecs I had several vanity alts set aside just to apply skills toward the basic suits. Some of those proto variants (Gk.0) look pretty damn sexy compared to the racial variants.

I skilled into proto Cal frame and loving it. I look so awesome. And I get a lot of stares between red and blues alike. Just like when I specced into Cal Logi in academy the newbs were like 'Why is this guys suit yellow?'

I do. Even reds it seems like they stare at my suit for a couple seconds before they shoot me like 'That suit is nice, NOW YOU DIE!!' Fortunately I stack ADV [yup, ADV] armor and shields so it takes a lot to
kill me. And from my extensive time in a scout suit the experience makes me very hard to kill. I'm in a medium suit but I move like a scout.
I'm still not used too this much HP, its over 700. My usual is 310HP usually lower. Massive change.

I use my GEK on my Proto suit. Its my favorite weapon besides shotty and MD. The GEK is the smoothest rifle in my opinion. No need for Duvolle. But I will get a GLU-TAC for my Cal Logi. :D

Remember valid claims for this challenge only count if I see you have an empty dropsuit command tree from the 1.8 skill point refund. That means you don't necessarily need to skill into basic suits on patch day if you want to claim this challenge.

The single level 5 of that light frame gives you an 85 ticket payout (with the 45% SP tier bonus. I'll also always round up a final decimal value.)

If you still have that 1.5 million skill points available you can easily skill into another basic scout frame. All it requries is just under 1.3 million. That would be another 85 tickets in the bank.

Were I only so smart.
I blew the remainder of my SP on Gallente Scout and cloaking so I could take my Dragonfly BPO for a few whirls before I permanently reduce it to so much goo along with my corpse. (Dragonfly BPO is pretty awesome in 1.8.)
Now that I think of it, I might have enough SP left over to get Gallente Light Suits to level 4 before I bite the bulletGǪ
I'll check when I'm no longer slaving for the man!
