I think if you have leftover power grid every point should be channeled into your sheilds at a 1 or 2 percent increase per point. It would be a give/take situation cuz if someone wanted take advantage of that added shield they would have to sacrifice something else. Plus it makes mechanical sense???

What if instead, excess powergrid channeled into a precentage decrease of recharge delay instead of shield buff.

Yes actually I like that idea better I love how things evolve naturally once its put out there! Channel it into recharge delay. ...lets do it

No.
In Eve Online, any ship that has leftover PG or CPU is just that. Leftovers. None of it gets transferred over to shields or armor or hull.

Eve is different than dust, i wish people would stop trying to shoehorn dust into eve's stupid little box. Sure some things from eve are good, but the games are fundamentally different in how you interact with other people, and where in eve you lose ships very infrequently, in dust you lose dropships very often.
Things I could see extra CPU/PG going into: ~ decrease shield recharge delay ~ increase sprinting speed ~ increase shield recharge rate ~ increase armor repair rate ~ tweak scanning precision/range/distance
Although, I would prefer to see this related to the modules you have equipped. So, maybe you have a shield recharge module equipped, its performance is boosted by any leftover CPU/PG on your ship not used by that module or anything else on the suit. |
