Killed a tank and its driver with a swarm launcher, yet said I used a militia assault rifle to get the kill.
Squad member forge gunned a dropship and killed the pilot, yet it said the kill was done with an RS combat rifle.
Saw redberry killed a bueberry, and said the weapon used was "committed suicide".

I've known about this for a while, probably a bug with CCP not making everything server side thread safe and two people get a kill at the same time.
Found it hilarious the time I killed a heavy out of an HMG with a Particle Cannon mounted on my ak.0

It could be worse, oh wait! it was worse.
I got hate mail from a guy that a squad mate nearly killed. Of course I did kill him but with a warbarge strike. His kill feed showed I killed him with my tanker buddies' weapon (some rail gun, don't recall now). So I must be the dirt bag that popped him. What he was mad about was that I was in the red line afterwards.
Yes I was, I was working on dropping another orbital. Then I got back into the fight, but the hater wouldn't listen to an explanation.
The simple answers are best. CCP sent the wrong information. Yep, I'd believe that first.
And yes, KAGEHOSHI this has been going on for six months or more. Most likely it has been a problem since Uprising as the basic game code changed dramatically then. All the BETA testing was made pointless with such an extreme modification as Uprising was dropped.
And so it goes.

This has been going on for 6 months? I've only seen this as of 1.7.
