the team that is working on Valkyrie is in New Castle. The team that works on dust is in Shanghai. Dust pays for itself and so will Valkyrie.

Just some facts.

- PS4/XB1 GPUs are based on old tech, based late 2011/2012 midrange cards (2 year tech powers the PS4/XB1)
- Mantle, I believe what you are referring is an API. Think of it as special software for designing software.
- Sony doesn't design GPUs.
- AMD designed all the GPUs in the XB1, PS4, and Wii
- Nvidia, is currently the dominant GPU company, had nothing to do with consoles this time around, (Think about it, at least half of installed GPUs are Nvidia cards).

Asha Starwind, when I say they are pretty much the same I mean that the architecture used is the same. I am not talking about computing power. Yes, the CPU/GPU used in the PS4 are slower than the newest cards but they are still using the same architecture that is found in every PC. The multicore CPU is x86 and that is what we use now in PCs.

When I say that they use SONY tech I mean that they use tech developed by SONY on their new generation of cards, SONY did invent the CELL processor and the die used to create the PS4 is 28nm like today's high end cards. Things that SONY introduced to the die are being used now on new cards, like volatile bit. Current cards are using GDDR5 just like the PS4. There are other things that are similar but it would take me all night to find where I read them.

I don't know much but I know about CPU/GPU and electronics and I am up to speed on how they work, why they work and what the specs are.
